I saw an ad for the BUNKR wedge and watched a few review videos and decided to try it. I am a pretty good chipper of the ball and a pretty decent golfer- 8 to 10 handicap, but just awful out of the sand. I have used the wedge for just 2 rounds so far, but it has ALREADY saved me 5 shots so far. First of all, it is amazing out of the sand. The square set up makes it so much easier to get out and control it. My first sand shot with it on the course went to 6 inches of the hole, nice and high and a soft landing. I never get sand saves. Looking to a lot more this season. An unexpected benefit of the BUNKR wedge, it is amazing out of thick, heavy rough around the greens. It glides right through the grass and the ball comes out high and soft onto the green. Amazing for short sided shots and anything in heavy grass which would normally be a very hard shot for me- the rough would always grab the club or I would have a hard time stopping the ball close. This would also be useful for full wedge shots where you need to hit it high and soft- I would not use it on tight lies, it has so much bounce, it digs too much for me, I would need way more skill to do that. Out of heavy to medium rough- all day long. Love this club!!

Had to see what all the hype around Vokey wedges was about so I picked up a 48, 52, and 58 to replace my RTX 6 Zipcores. With full swings, they feel like most other wedges I 'd say. Nothing too mind blowing, at least vs the Zipcores, though the Clevelands feel a little heavier. However, around the greens these things really shine. I replaced my old SM4 60* with the Vokey SM9. I love this around the greens especially when I want to stop the ball on a tight pin location. It is also my 50- 60 yard club from the fairway with a tight lie. I also have a 56* Vokey for bunker shots. I wish I had these when I was younger but at 65 I still can get good spin on the ball. I absolutely love them!

However, after speaking with the golf associates at Dick's, I was informed that there is really no discernible difference between last years SM 9 models and the new SM 10s( aside from the SM 9s being about$ 50 per club LESS), so I went ahead and bought them. Glad I did. They are more forgiving than my previous wedges and I feel like I can control them a little better.

I just bought this wedge( 56 degree, 12 bounce, black) as my sand wedge. Took me about 5- 10 min to figure out and then I started sticking shots to 5 ft from 45 yards( off grass, still figuring out the sand). Needless to say, I am very happy. Might have to get the 60 degree as well. Also, the grip at the store feels slick due to a powdery coating, but as soon as you wipe it down the grip is really good. Now confident I can bring my handicap down as my short game has improved immediately. Absolute butter wedge, would recommend.

I am really enjoying the versatility of these wedges. I have a 56 ATV and a 60 ATC. The ATV is good for soft turf and bunkers. The ATC is the grind that blows me away- it is finally a hi- toe that brings a tour/players grind to this line up. I have long liked the Hi- Toes but this generation has made me love them. My only wish is that they would take the thinner sole of the ATC to the stronger lofts.

It was time to replace my Ping Glide wedges and bought this in 54 degrees for sand and the C grind in 58 degrees for the fairway. Well, the Eye2 certainly does glide through the sand well even without opening the face, but it's equally good from just about every lie. So good, in fact, that I 've barely used my 58 at all. I 'm a 10 handicapper whose major weakness is around the greens. This club just gives me so much confidence from 50 yards in. The sound and feel on well struck full shots are perfect, as is the spin. Do n't let the goofy looks put you off. Give it a try.

Went looking for irons and ended up with Pindriver, irons and s159 wedges. Extremely happy with all of the clubs but the wedges are an absolute standout! When I was fitted for these wedges I was getting 2000 RPM more spin. My previous wedges were used but even new never had the stopping power these do! I ’ m an 11 hcp and clearly I miss hit shots sometimes but these wedges always stop very quick. I chip a lot and I ’ ve never seen anything stop out of the rough like these do! So many times I hit a shot thinking “ oh that ’s gon na roll out another 20 ’ only to see it stop within 10 ’. The feel/sound of these when hitting a ball is so nice. Sometimes you can hardly tell you hit a ball they are that good. Plus the customizable grinds is awesome! My 58 is a different grind so I can hit the high soft shots that drop and stop. These wedges are definitely helping lower my scores. Can ’ t see me straying from Ping clubs after this experience.

I 've been gaming the 54 and 58 degree wedges for about a month now, and I 'm really impressed. The Full Toe helps with those high toe hits and allows for a little creativity around the greens, and the J Grind allows for very smooth turf interaction. I ’ ve had this club for about a month and have used it for a few practice sessions along with a couple of rounds. I also have a Cleveland CPX and a Calloway JAWS. Speaking as an average golfer I can say that this club can hold its own with the above mentioned clubs. If you ’ re looking for a cheaper option with similar results, I definitely recommend the Tommory Armour 845. I currently have the 56 degree. I ’ ll be looking to add a 60 degree in the near future.
