For golf, distances to hazards was a little better with the S62 but still OK with the S70 once you figure it out how to manipulate it. ... This watch is fantastic, long battery life, tons of

I upgraded from an old Forerunner so I could get the golf features along with the exercise stuff. This watch does it for me.

Love it so much wish I had more time to golf. Better than my fitbit, no app fees, and works great on the course.

This is the perfect watch if your a golfer. I used it for a round of golf last weekend. It tracks your score for you( with the c10 attachment) It is so much easier to read your distance from the green with the watch instead of reaching for your rangefinder. I was able to see my shot tracking on each hole after my round was over.

This is my second Garmin watch. I love the play like feature. My only complaint is that the Garmin Golf app needs to be on to get the weather.

I haven ’ t worn my Apple Watch since I got the S70. That ’s how good it is. Loaded with great features for golf and everyday use. Can ’ t say enough about how much I love the watch but the Garmin Golf App is terrible. It looks like Garmin came up with this app sometime around 2005 and hasn ’ t updated it since. Visually unappealing and so clunky to use. My biggest gripe is not being able to go back in and fix yardage mistakes. For example it does a good job with shots leading up to the greens but once there it kind of just guesses where your approach shot landed. When you edit the shot later, you can ’ t move it to where it actually ended up. There ’s a “ edit distance ” button but it doesn ’ t do anything. This can throw off your club distance averages by 20- 30 yards. Come on Garmin, catch up to the other shot tracking apps out there. You have a fantastic watch product matched up with garbage software.

The watch is light- weight and very visible. It's more accurate than my last brand and the battery has lasted for four rounds without recharging.

Overall great watch. Upgraded from previous model. Similar with shuttle differences. Like the pin move option. Haven ’ t tried the club linking.

It charges quickly. ... And the GPS comes in handy on the golf course. ... I recommend it for anyone with a handicap of 8 or higher. ... The yardages are close to what you would expect and it was so much fun to play virtual

Over 40k pre- loaded courses and no subscription fees. The launch monitor is awesome. Just put it on the ground with no calibration or lengthy set up and in seconds you get swing speed, smash factor, ball speed, tempo and carry /roll distances. Can play virtual rounds at the preloaded courses!

bought this took it to the range took my lazer lined up with all of the flags to make sure I was dead on my distances and I have to say this thing is as accurate as it gets when I hit club to the 150 flag it read around 150 but give me specific numbers I was a little disappointed with my driver distance but it did n't lie because I hit right where the flag was calling it will my lazer so this definitely worth the money plus it give me swing speed ball speed which is definitely an eye opener to all who say it's does n't work u have to hit the ball solid to get a true reading if it's off u might wan na rethink your swing

Works great. Small and compact while still being able to send messages without the app if your phone dies or gets disconnected from the device. Battery lasts a long time with regular use.

This is my second inReach- replaced my original Mini with this. The Mini was actually very good- I used it to evacuate a guy from the Grand Canyon last spring- but I hated the Earthmate app and was quite disappointed that the Mini was effectively orphaned by Garmin in that ancient app. It would not communicate with my Garmin watch either. This fixes both problems- the Messenger app is much better and I get notifications on my watch. Battery life is better, it is a USB- C connection( rather than micro), it is almost as small, and still has a tiny screen if your phone dies in an emergency. I do wish the lanyard hole was larger and the device was more thoughtful about how you 'd connect it/mount it/tether it to something else. Common to both devices is being on Iridium rather than Globalstar. I had a pair of Spots years ago and thought they were awful and unreliable with no for- sure confirmation that a message was received and many places in the world without coverage. InReach/Iridium is just solid and reliable everywhere. So those of you that think an iPhone is the cats pajamas for this, well it is on Globalstar. Enough said.

The Garmin inReach Messenger is hands- down the most valuable piece of gear I carry. Whether I ’ m hiking, hunting, fishing, or working on a fireline during an initial attack, this device provides peace of mind when out of cell service. It ’s compact, easy to use, and connects seamlessly to my phone, with fantastic battery life and affordable monthly plans that are well worth the investment for safety. One of my favorite features is the ability to send a location update every 10 minutes, which reassured my family that as long as I was moving, I was okay. Of course, you can turn this off to conserve battery when needed. The only minor downside is that occasionally, when sending a message while moving or if the device is covered, it can take longer to send, but stopping in an open area without tree cover speeds it up, so it ’s not a dealbreaker. If you spend any time in the backcountry—especially solo—get a satellite communication device. The inReach Messenger is my top choice, but no matter what, having something for emergency communication is a must. Just bite the bullet and get one—it could save your life.

This is another great product from Garmin. If you ’ re looking to stay in touch with the family when you are out of cellular range this is a must. Easy to set up and very user friendly! As far as satellite messengers go this is the best one I ’ ve found.

If you want a watch that can track any activity and has a battery last for weeks look no further. This watch does it all, with accurate GPS tracking and long battery life it is perfect for my uses. I mainly use it for running and cycling and its amazing. While this has all the bells and whistles it is definetley meant for the more serious consumer. It may be too much for the beginner with the price.

The battery life is great on it, using this watch for all around activities but tracking your runs are great, I love that the screen is pretty much unbreakable and that the bezel doesn ’ t catch too much light causing glare. Very simple to use out the box, and recommended to set it up on the app for a quicker and easier set up. Don ’ t think about buying it. Just buy it. Did my research and the cheapest place I found it was on here.

as a lot of people are i am a little disappointed on the battery life. i only get around 9 days in smart watch mode with almost no gps activity. but besides the battery life it is a great watch and i really like how it looks.

This watch has everything you could want, however the basics are really tough to access. The default setup is basically option overload. This solar watch is also a lot larger and heavier than some of their other models. It doesn ’ t feel like a good everyday watch and is hard to fit over sleeves of jackets( at least woman ’s ones?
