[ I bought these a month ago and I 've worn them almost every day since then for rides between 30 and 80 miles. They are very comfortable and the stiffness of the sole has eliminated some plantar pain I was developing with my old shoes. The only objection is that the velcro straps are just barely long enough( I have wide feet). The shoes fit my feet well enough but only with thin liner socks- I 'm not sure these will work well for cold weather rides given my wide feet( and need for thicker socks).

The holes to screw the cleats into were a little misplaced which caused some discomfort when I tried them on, but once I tightened the cleats onto the shoe, I have n't noticed anything off and the shoes are comfortable and fit well.

Much easier to hike- a- bike without the steal toe cleats like my old shoes too. Maybe less than stellar: Feels kind of bulky in the forefoot sole if you 're standing on rocks, but it's tolerable. I do n't notice it when riding though. Not sure how long the BOA system will last. It seems like I 'm going to pull it apart when I disengage it, but time will tell. I would recommend these. In fact, I 'm going to get my girlfriend a pair.

The sneaker is nice for rocky terrain if I have to hike a bike and I like having a comfortable sneaker to walk in for when I bike places. I do have to replace them about every 1- 1. 5 years because the sole wears out but I do get a lot of miles out of them. I have a wide toe box so once I find a shoe that is comfortable I keep buying it.

[ This is my first pair of actual bike shoes to be honest. Usually wear flat skate type shoes or trainers. I rode in these shoes twice and I can honestly say that there is a significant difference( maybe because I have n't worn bike specific shoes before). I love the shank in the sole, I feel like i have much better control and balance when hitting the bumpy rooted descents and techy spots. The soles are great for gripping flat pedals. I rode in wet conditions on one ride and never had an issue with slipping. I 'm running CB Stamp 1 pedals. I also found it easier to find my foot position quickly again if I need to take foot off and come back to. They fit true to size based on my recent experiences with shoe buying. Love the BOA laces. I was looking for a flat pedal shoe with BOA laces which appear hard to find. I found 3 different shoes and this pair was about$ 25-$ 50 cheaper, but with the same features. I think these are better looking as well in my opinion. I am extremely happy with them. Overall I 'm pretty pumped to have bought this shoe after 2 rides. The GT Hustle 3's are probably the best basketball shoes I 've ever owned, but they might not be for everyone. If you prefer low- to- the- ground cushioning or have large- volume feet( wide, etc.), these may not be ideal for you. However, if you need excellent cushioning and have low- volume feet( narrow, etc.), these could be perfect. The support of these shoes is incredible. I can make hard cuts and stops with great stability. When laced tightly, they are super comfortable with no pinch points. They have a cushy running shoe feel during full- court transitions but are definitely tuned for basketball. My only complaint is the tongue, which curls on the sides. Fortunately, this does n't affect comfort or gameplay, so no stars off for that.
