There is some adjustment needed to the new position, but I am confident that it will result in better contact with the ball. I tried a friend's orange whip a year ago while warming up just before we teed off, and I was impressed. It seems to inhibit the tendency to start the downswing too soon. I also thought, because of its weight, that it might help me gain some swing speed. I 've owned mine for a couple of weeks, and I honestly feel that it has helped me strengthen my shoulders, forearms and hands. It has also encouraged a fuller wrist cock, which seems to be improving my distance with the driver somewhat. I 'm excited to see more improvement with continued use. Obviously, Father Time is undefeated, but I 'm going to make the best of what I have left for as long as I can.
