I work Mountain Patrol in the San Bernardino mountains. I have used the North Face gear for a long time; it has never let me down. This is my second pair of this line, and they get the job done when you need it most.

These gloves remind me of TNF stuff from the 80's, amazing quality and thoughtful design with high end materials.

These gloves keep your hand dried very well. I have n't used under several weather yet, so I am not sure about waterproof from rain& snow yet. I used these at 10~15 degrees C, and my hands held some sweat. These gloves alone would be good between - 10~10 degree C. You would need extra thermal gears under - 10C. I felt the size runs a little large as I break in. You could do half size down if you want tight fits.

I have used these for several storms while shoveling and snowblowing snow. They have a great shell that is definitely waterproof therefore keeping my fingers dry and warm. They are quite pricey but needed for this part of the country.

Keeps the hands perfectly warm... would definitely recommend. The only part that i think is unnecessary is the thin elastic at the end of the gloves which apparently is there to tighten the end. Does n't function much.

I 've used these gloves while using the snow blower at zero degrees Fahrenheit, they kept my hands warm for thee 30 minutes I used them. They are comfortable and light weight.

Seems a lot of gloves are very expensive these days. These gloves were on sale and not anywhere near the top of the price scale. But I have found them to be very comfortable and effective when out using my snowblower, where my hands typically get cold.

My hands typically get so cold very fast. These gloves have been awesome for outdoor activities in Washington. I 've actually had to take them off while skiing and snowshoeing because my hands are too warm. I have n't warn them while sitting still, but they have been perfect for being active in very cold temperatures/snow/rain.

I needed warm winter gloves for walking my dog and I 've tried many that just were n't good for the extremely cold days. I was deciding between these and North Face, but decided to go with these because they came with liner gloves. I do n't actually use the liners because I like to pull my fingers out of the gloves and ball my hands up when my fingers get cold( on the super cold days). I have stopped searching for any more gloves because I do really like these.

I bought these a month or so ago, because I was using my snow blower and my fingers were going numb. Even when I put hand warmers in my gloves, my finger tips were still freezing. So, that day I went and bought these and have no regrets. There two layers, a glove inside of a mitten, so you can use hand warmers and keep your palms and fingers warm. There is also a zipper pouch to put a hand warmer on the back of your hand if you need the heat there. Now my biggest problem is that my wife steals them to go on her walks because they work so well.( And I did n't even mention how comfy they are).( for the sizing question below.... the inner glove runs small, but the outer shell mitten is normal or slightly on the big side)
5
MaxMoses11
Included liner glove top notch too. Methods to tighten and loosen well thought out and easy to use even with both mittens on.

Been using Bd gloves for many years and they have always been great but these are hands down the warmest mitt I ’ ve had, which is so great to have for those super chilly days up on the resort. No finger separators which I like as your body heat keeps each digit warm.

These are hands down( haha!) the best mittens ever! I have spent a lifetime of winters with perpetually frozen fingers, desperate for a way to foil Mother Nature. Enter the Black Diamond Mission MX mittens and all I can say is let ’s go outside, and bring on the snow. First of all, this is the first xs mitten that really is extra small and fits me. There ’s loads of insulation but they ’ re not too bulky( they work great with ski poles and trekking poles and give me enough dexterity to make snow balls). They are really well made and packed with features( wrist elastic and Velcro, soft suede on the thumbs, leashes with toggles, super cozy insides, and super weather - proof outsides. And they are WARM! I have yet to come in from the cold to warm up my hands. So happy.

I love these gloves. I am a ski patroller and need a warm and functional glove. The mission gloves provide the dexterity I need to manage a taboggan, ropes, and tools. I love the leather palms for gripping ropes and the Velcro wrist straps which keep the snow out and secure the glove easily under the cuff of my jacket. These gloves replaced a pair of BD gloves I used for nearly 6 years.

Gore-Tex gloves are designed to provide waterproof and breathable protection, making them ideal for various outdoor activities. The unique membrane technology allows moisture to escape while preventing water from entering, keeping your hands dry and comfortable. This makes them suitable for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and other winter sports.
Choosing the right size of Gore-Tex gloves involves measuring your hand circumference and length to find a size that fits snugly without being too tight. It's important to consider the intended use, as some activities may require a looser fit for better dexterity. Always refer to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer for the most accurate fit.
Yes, Gore-Tex gloves are particularly well-suited for extreme weather conditions due to their waterproof and windproof properties. They are designed to keep your hands warm and dry in cold, wet environments, making them a popular choice for winter sports enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. However, it's essential to consider insulation levels for added warmth in frigid temperatures.
Gore-Tex gloves are versatile and can be used for a variety of activities, including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and other outdoor sports. Their waterproof and breathable features make them ideal for any situation where you may encounter wet or snowy conditions. Additionally, they can be worn for everyday use in cold, rainy weather.
Gore-Tex gloves stand out due to their unique membrane technology that offers superior breathability while maintaining waterproof capabilities. Compared to other waterproof gloves, Gore-Tex gloves often provide better moisture management, which helps prevent sweat buildup inside the gloves. This makes them more comfortable for extended wear during active pursuits.
While Gore-Tex gloves are primarily designed for cold and wet conditions, some models may be suitable for milder weather depending on their insulation and breathability features. If you plan to use them in warmer conditions, look for gloves that offer enhanced ventilation and lighter insulation to prevent overheating. Always consider the specific activity and weather conditions when choosing gloves.
