[ I bought these gloves at the height of winter and I have not looked back. They are extremely warm and keep your hands dry in every condition. They especially shined when it came to winter sports because any contact with the snow would previously give me wet, cold hands. There is no such thing with these with the combination of GoreTex and with the cuffs going up so high on my arm and being adjustable, wet hands and arms are a thing of the past. There are a number of handy features as well with finger holds on the outside of ring fingers make the gloves easy to remove even while gloved. The retention cuffs do their job well. I would recommend these for someone looking for a nice pair of gloves that wants to keep their hands warm and dry. They outperform everything else at their price point.

Pros The elastic leash is comfortable and low - profile and allows easy removal of gloves without dropping them in the snow. The leather is durable and stands up to skiing abuse The gloves are remarkably warm - usually I change over to mittens earlier than most, but these gloves are great due to the insulation and fusing The powder skirt is quite large and cinch - able which makes it amazing at keeping any snow from getting into the gloves, even when messing around in an avalanche pit. Cons The gloves fit a bit small even after ordering by the size guide - this can easily be mitigated by ordering up a size
