I ’ ve had my griddle for a year and used about twice a month and my top has absolutely no deterioration or excessive wear. The griddle has never seen any metal cooking utensils or abrasive cleaning products or tools. I use only Pit Boss utensils for the griddle and clean with Dawn soap, water and the Pit Boss scrub pad( recommended by Pit Boss). Another tip would be to not use oil( as you would with a steel grill). I use butter and only enough to flavor. My experience is better than most reviews. You can ’ t treat this griddle like a steel top.

Our town in NH only allows fires of out size to be cooking fires before 5 pm. We decided to start cooking breakfast over the fire. I 've been using my BBQ grill box with my Explorer for 10+ years. It has been used as an every- day grill, camping grill, party grill, baseball tournament grill, etc... very heavy usage. Zero issues. I estimate that I have prepared over 300 meals with it. The grill box has now worn out( the grate plate below the cooking surface finally rusted and broke through and is coming apart). [ This portable fold- up X- Grill by Oniva is great for grilling burgers, sausages, and simple cuts of meat. It folds up really nicely and comes with a handy over- the- shoulder carrying bag. The bag and compact design makes it very easy to take with you if you want to grill things at a tailgate, at the beach, or at a park, for example. The grill itself gets the job done well enough but leaves a few things to be desired. The grates are n't perfectly lined up with the side that holds it in place and it is a little bit wobbly since the grate is also made of three pieces attached together. The charcoal sits very close to the cooking grates so food items cook very quickly and can burn more easily, resulting in things like burgers and hotdogs working out well but not so much for more complicated food items like chicken. Ideally a cover or lid would be a great additional feature to help control airflow and to control how hot the grill gets. All in all, this X- Grill is still a very handy thing to have on hand since it can easily be stored away when not in use. I also wish the bag that it came with had a zipper or a velcro closure because as it is now, it's just a non- secure flap that tucks into the bag, allowing for the grill to slide out if it falls over.

Long honest review here and I want to start this review off with this is my very first full sized griddle. I have always just used the Camp Chef Sidekick Griddle on the Woodwind Smoker. Before buying I put in my time researching and looking at reviews and I am so happy I went with The Gridiron 36. This thing is sturdy, easy to use, and just looks badass. I am about 2 months in and keep saying I ’ m glad I stuck with Camp Chef equipment. First it arrived in perfect condition and was easy to put together. Everything about it is fantastic. The lid is awesome and love how it ’s connected for easy on and off. The four burners and ignition is great and have not had a single issue. Extremely quiet when I turn it on. The shelves on the side are useful for everyday cooking and yes the one above the propane tank doesn ’ t fold down but that ’s okay I don ’ t fold them down to begin with even with the cover. Grease management is a breeze and love that it ’s in the front and easy access from underneath. I have the cover and griddle mat which I strongly suggest. IF you want some kind of critique or one thing I wish was different. I wish the line for the propane was not directly up front and in the rear, kind of hidden, but that ’s purely cosmetic and does not affect a thing. I ’ m over it already. My buddies have a popular competitor griddle and it just looks small and not as well built as the Gridiron 36. Next up is buying some of the magnetic attachments. After every cook I think I verbally say to my wife I ’ m glad I chose Camp Chef again!

The way that it folds out to be almost double the size so you have room to set things down, it's like an outdoor kitchen! The grease trap has been a cleaning life saver. We also cooked pancakes on it and they were SO good. Also being able to just cook all of the pancakes at one time made for such an easy breakfast! I love that you can adjust the burners to cook multiple things, or not waste propane if you only need half the grill on. It's the best.

I 've had a Campchef 2 burner griddle since the early 90's and its still working well. I have cooked literally hundreds of meals on it. In the 90's the griddles did n't come with the diffuser plates on the bottom so I made a couple of them. They now they come with the diffuser plates and I love them. To me, a griddle is the most important accessory for any Campchef stove and I highly recommend purchasing one. It allows so much flexibility as to what you can cook. I now have 2 of the 2 burner griddles and 2 of the single burner griddles.( I have 3 of the Pro90 stoves and 1 single burner stove).

This smoker adds the extra smoke I was looking for on my meat. I smoked a few pork butts and they all turned out amazing. The smoke ring was awesome. The meat was tender and juicy. The room in this smoker is twice the space I had on my MZG 24 smoker. The temperature stayed consistent and was always within 3- 5 degrees off set temperature. The vertical chamber is great for not losing heat. When I would open the lid to my MZG 24 smoker, the temperature would drop ten degrees or more. I do n't get but a couple degree drop when I open the door to the XXL Pro. Probably due to the vertical design. I would say the smoke box is also great addition to adding extra smoke at whatever level you desire. The Wi- Fi, blue tooth controller works well. I really like this smoker.

My XXL has been in use now for several months. There no significant issues with assembly. The door fits and swings well and easily. The temperature controller works as advertised. The smoke box does the job easily and neatly. Pork Butts, Pork Ribs, Chicken, Turkey, Beef of various cuts have all turned out delicious. It is supremely easy to use. The wheels make it easy to move around, thought the legs tend to vibrate and chatter a bit on uneven pavement. The pellet hopper is huge and easy to fill and monitor. Even the WiFi connection/controller works well. Nice unit.

[ I am not a big fan of camping but when I do go, I want to be able to eat warm meals! It was so easy to set this up and cook up some hot dogs for the family to eat! Easy storage, easy clean up! I love it!

[ This portable fold- up X- Grill by Oniva is great for grilling burgers, sausages, and simple cuts of meat. It folds up really nicely and comes with a handy over- the- shoulder carrying bag. The bag and compact design makes it very easy to take with you if you want to grill things at a tailgate, at the beach, or at a park, for example. The grill itself gets the job done well enough but leaves a few things to be desired. The grates are n't perfectly lined up with the side that holds it in place and it is a little bit wobbly since the grate is also made of three pieces attached together. The charcoal sits very close to the cooking grates so food items cook very quickly and can burn more easily, resulting in things like burgers and hotdogs working out well but not so much for more complicated food items like chicken. Ideally a cover or lid would be a great additional feature to help control airflow and to control how hot the grill gets. All in all, this X- Grill is still a very handy thing to have on hand since it can easily be stored away when not in use. I also wish the bag that it came with had a zipper or a velcro closure because as it is now, it's just a non- secure flap that tucks into the bag, allowing for the grill to slide out if it falls over.

This is my 3rd camp chef dlx 24 I own. They all work great and would recommend to anyone. This 1 cost a little more than the other 2 and came with a little damage but nothing a rubber mallet could n't fix. I hope it last just as long as my other 2 if not longer. FYI my other 2 work fine I just had a mishap with pellets getting wet and jammed up auger but I cleared the jam and still works. Camp Chef is definitely my go to smoker/pellet grill in today's market.
