I ’ ve always been a bit of a flashlight guy. As a kid I cost my dad a small fortune in D cells running down his baseball bat sized Maglite. I ’ ve been through more headlamps than I can count over the years. I picked up this particular one a few months ago and I have to say it has been by far the best headlamp I ’ ve ever had. The door fuel capability comes in handy, and the functions on this light are super useful and navigable. It ’s great to having the brightness memory as well as the powertap feature to be able to instantly switch to max and back. One feature that stands out is the way each mode dims/brightens. I haven ’ t seen that on a light before. It also seems a lot brighter than 450 lumens at max. If you ’ re looking for a good reliable headlamp I truly don ’ t think in any way you could go wrong with these. Hope this helps

Favorite feature is that the continuous brightness adjustment is remembered when powered off/on, so I do n't have to keep readjusting it. I ’ ve used this for nightly walks and camping a few times, I frequently forget to charge my headlamps, so it ’s nice that the battery lasts so long and it charges quickly when needed. The safety switch is nice, as I ’ ve accidentally turned on my old lamp in my pack while things are jostling around. There ’s nothing worse than a dead light when it ’s really needed. My one minor complaint is the on/off button. It ’s a little tricky to find and click when it ’s on my head, and it gets a little trickier when I have gloves on. Aside from that, Im happy.

I bought this head lamp after consistent disappointments from many brands, including High End brands, all failing within a year of first use. This light was purchased on 4/6/2022@ 10: 30 AM. It was plugged into my computer to charge over night, then placed in my cargo pant pocket to carry from job to job. I pull it out to charge on my computer regularly and use this light at work daily, and when camping or fishing. I am closing fast on 3 years of ownership, and it has not failed me yet. For three years it is either lighting my way, bouncing around in my pocket, or on the desk charging. The green light is silly, and the turbo setting is also just a silly feature, but this had allowed me to work with a dependable light consistently for more than two years. it is bright enough to work in dark places, and sets low enough to not have a glare. It is light weight on the head, and I hardly know it is there. The small battery has not been an issue yet. I have nothing but good things to say about this light.
