FINALLY!!.... Someone has gotten it right!.... A pellet that delivers as advertised!.... I 've been cooking in competitions on large stick fired pits my entire life. Last year, I purchased a smaller pellet grill to use for smaller family sized cooks. Since that time, I have searched high and low for a pellet that delivers as advertised, and in the process wasted several hundred dollars. Inferior products of questionable content, have flooded the market. This product is GREAT! It is consistent, burns clean& hot, and gives the smoke flavor that whole briskets are meant to have. I could n't be more pleased... I will certainly be purchasing more... GREAT JOB!

This is n't the first time I 've purchased these pellets and it wo n't be my last because the are GREAT!!!!! They burn evenly in my Traeger, plus they literally burn so clean that I do n't even need to clean the inside the grill. It's honestly pellet quality that makes the biggest difference, plus- the flavor is literally incredible- I 'm buying my second bag of Hickory Pellets today.

I smoke quite a bit on a Camp Chef and these Hickory pellets are my go- to wood pellet. They produce great smoke and flavor, and it's obvious that the quality is far above some of the bigger- name brands. Pay really close attention to pellets- some will say `` Hickory '' or `` Cherry '' or whatever, but when you really look into the contents you 'll see something like `` Hardwoods with hickory flavor ''. So you 're getting some random wood with hickory oil? No thanks. Make sure you get what you pay for and these are solid winners.

I ’ ve owned my grill about a month, I ’ ve smoked salmon, sausage fatties, pork loin etc. and all were amazing. The best thing I ’ ve cooked on it is reverse seared ribeye steak. Hardwood pellets for smoking are small, cylindrical pieces made from compressed sawdust of various hardwoods. They are used in smokers and grills to impart rich, smoky flavors to meats, vegetables, and other foods. When heated, these pellets produce smoke that enhances the taste of the food being cooked, making them a popular choice for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.
Common types of hardwood used in smoking pellets include hickory, mesquite, apple, cherry, and oak. Each type of wood offers a distinct flavor profile, allowing cooks to choose based on their desired taste. For example, hickory provides a strong, bold flavor, while fruitwoods like apple and cherry offer a milder, sweeter smoke.
Hardwood pellets differ from traditional wood chips in their size, density, and burn characteristics. Pellets are more compact and uniform, which allows for a longer, more consistent burn. This results in a steadier smoke output and less frequent refueling compared to wood chips, making them a convenient option for extended smoking sessions.
Yes, hardwood pellets can be used in a variety of smokers and grills, including pellet grills, electric smokers, and some charcoal grills that have a dedicated smoking box. However, it's important to ensure that your equipment is compatible with pellets, as some devices are designed specifically for other types of fuel.
When choosing hardwood pellets for smoking, consider the type of wood for the flavor profile you want, the quality of the pellets, and whether they are made from 100% hardwood without additives. Additionally, look for pellets that are sourced sustainably and have been produced with minimal moisture content to ensure optimal burning and flavor.
