I bought this coat after having to borrow a coworkers Columbia coat at work... it was too big but was amazed with the quality and warmth it provided! After receiving my coat, we had some downright frigid temperatures with high winds and my body never felt a thing! This coat is thin and light but do n't let that fool you! It does a phenomenal job at protecting and keeping you warm! I also love the fit, very flattering! I highly recommend the sizing tool to find the right size because these run smaller than normal but the tool successfully recommended the right size in the end and I did n't have to return.( My biggest fear with ordering from brands I have n't ordered from before.) I definitely understand the popularity of this brand, the products speak for themselves but if you 're new to the brand, you ca n't go wrong with the amazing quality you 'll find with this coat!

[ A great jacket to keep warm and still look nice. There are interior thumb sleeves to help keep hands warm. The inside zippered pocket is great for ID, plane tickets and such. Exterior pockets are zippered to keep everything in that's supposed to be in. Love all the colors. Who wants a black jacket? Everyone has a black jacket. It's nice to wear a different color sometimes.

Awesome piece of gear. It ’s lighter than a mouse fart, but warm as a Marshall pufffy combined. This jacket was purchased with climbing Kilimanjaro in mind and will be bringing it with in January. The only other puffy that compares is the whisperer/2 which trades a little down loft for a slightly tougher shell fabric.

This is my dream super light down jacket and I wear it more than any other during the colder months. I thought the Ghost Whisperer was good until I got one of these and now I only wear the UL. It's so light it almost feels like you 're not wearing anything, and at the same time its seems much warmer than similar jackets that are heavier. [ This is my favorite jacket. A few years ago I had it in black and loved it. My weight shifted causing me to need a different size. Now I have the same style in the off white color. Because it ’s not bulky it ’s perfect for the car and for most cold weather except for the most frigid New England days.
