[ The 12' Tubing Tow Rope Harness is a game- changer for anyone struggling with troublesome tow points. This extra- long, heavy- duty harness easily stretches across wide beams, making it perfect for 4- person towable tubes, water skis, wakesurf boards, and wakeboards. It's a breeze to use—just clip it onto your boat and attach your ski, board, or tube rope to the heavy- duty Kwik- Connect system. I 've had this tube for 6 years already I live in south Florida and I use it a lot which means that I always use it in salt water after so much use it is starting to show some rips but it still hold the air like a champI still tow the kids with it and my wife uses it as a float every time we go out I am waiting for it to die to buy another one. A great big wall harness. Great for hanging belays, lightweight, durable, the double sewn belay loop lacking an overlapping seam is super nice. One pull back of leg tightening straps, out of the way front leg loop straps, again super light, durable construction.

[ I have used the chest harness 1/2 dozen times already. It keeps my gear separated, there ’s a good visual on where everything is, so when you ’ re in a compromised position the gear is easy to find. It ’s like decluttering your house.
5
DanK
[ Love it. I require a chest harness for rope solo, although I have come to prefer racking with them that I use it for all trad. Fits really well, high chest level clip in, rouged, very comfortable even with a lot a gear, plenty of bells and whistles that provide many excellent options for racking with great organization and comfort. A bit heavy... but given all the above that's to be expected.
5
[ The product is an amazing addition to your rack if you carry a lot of gear. Taking the weight off your hips and distributing it across your torso makes for much more fun over the course of your day.

[ I 've been waiting to find the perfect harness since last year in yosemite when I was jugging up 60 meters of free hanging rope and my aid rack harness at the time was digging into my chest every move.[ I could see the scar from that for 3 months] Finally I found the one. This is simple to adjust, has plenty of space, and is comfortable!
5
Disappointed Dad
[ This chest harness has been pretty sweet. It ’s got a ton of organized loops that fit tight up and out of the way but easy to clip while cleaning. Can adjust both the chest circumference and the height of gear with the shoulder straps. Full chest harness function is also handy for chest ascender. I ’ m happy with my purchase and though it my first chest harness gear rack I think I ’ ll be sticking with it over anything else I ’ ve ran across comparison shopping. Quality product with a ton of features and organization at a super competitive price point. The loops aren ’ t in the way when the harness is on either so if you are looking for just a chest harness consider this one. The added features may come in handy.

[ I am a double leg amputee at the knees with a center of gravity located in my upper chest. This harness fits really well and suspends me properly without feeling like I 'm going to flip over. Adjustability comes from the shoulder and leg straps only, but they work in tandem to accommodate my unconventional body shape. Being suspended in mid- air is comfortable enough for sport climbing. You would n't want to hang out all day, but 5- 10 minute durations are manageable.

[ I 've owned one of these for a year and used several times for glacier travel in the Cascades, including a mountaineering course on Mt. Baker during which I was suspended in a crevasse with this harness for 15 to 20 minutes while others were learning how to haul me out. Despite it being so light, it's actually surprisingly comfortable due to the fairly wide, flat leg loops. It's also very easy to get on and off while wearing crampons or skis, which is essential for an alpine harness.

[ This is a simple, easy to use harness. I am 220 5'- 10 and the M/L fits over my ski clothes just fine. It is very comfy while using and seems to be very well made.

[ I bought this harness a month ago so that I have an extra to take friends climbing who do n't have their own gear. The harness is simple and easy to use but comfortable for an alpine bod. Best deal out there for climbing equipment. Harness is comfortable, only one band to tighten compared to the two from the Petzl brand gym rentals, but still stays on well. Able to tighten the leg straps too. Make sure you measure the waist for sizing and do n't rely on pant size, since it 'll be too small.

[ I bought this to replace a light rock climbing harness I had been using for home maintenance safety( tree and rooftop work). I have already used it for some tree climbing using a Petzl Zigzag combined with knee and foot ascenders and it did the job admirably for its price point( i. e. I 'm sure the SRT Harness would be more comfortable for hanging by a rope all day, for limiting hanging this harness was comfortable and secure enough and at less than half the price). It feels totally secure... no slipping, no binding, and I 'm able to adjust it for a great fit. Typical high- quality Petzl product. Worth every penny.

This harness has a really wide range of adjustability. I 'm a size 32 waist and ordered the M- XL. My waist is on the smaller side of the recommended range for this size, but it still feels very secure. The leg loops have a wide range of adjustability too. [ A friend of mine had a misty mountain harness and always raved of how great it was. My cheap petzl harness was almost falling apart from the chimneys and crystalline granite I had made it subject to, so I decided to upgrade. The Cadillac is great, definitely comfy enough for all day climbing and makes the hanging belay while my partner flails on that 5. 8 offwidth so much more survivable. I also don ’ t mind the extra weight versus some other harnesses, it still feels sleek and works great for hard cracks in the creek.

I needed a new chest harness for Single Rope Technique in vertical caving. I was looking at more traditional chest harnesses for SRT, but when I saw this one from Black Diamond, the additional gear attachments points and ease of adjustability drew my attention. I was skeptical to give it a shot, but decided to try it. I am happy to say this is my new favorite chest harness!! Super comfortable and adjustable. Love the added gear loops for radios, etc. Having a more secure and convenient radio attachment point will hopefully prevent radio# 3 from taking a 125+ plunge down a pit.

How people rack their gear is a very personal thing. That said, if you are going to rack with a shoulder sling this is definitely a great one to choose. It distributes weight evenly around you torso and allows you to easily organize the gear so it is accessible. Thanks BD for a great product.
5
Christopher D.
Compared to other dual sling racks, this starts as a chest harness and adds storage capacity. The front tie point is bomber. The dual adjustment straps on either side of the tie point work very well. The only downside I see is if you were to remove the harness while racked( say, at a belay and swapping leads) it will be tough to get out of since you slide this harness over your head. It would be nice to have an opening up front to ease this move or else plan on reracking on another harness/sling for a lead swap.

5
Blake E
Love this thing! This one fits the bill for me, it ’s comfy but not too clunky, in the day where most harnesses are turning into G- strings I really appreciate something with a little more padding and just as flexible. My legs change sizes throughout the year depending on the activity I ’ m concentrating on so it ’s nice that the leg loops are adjustable. If the gear loops where a little bigger or there was a third one it would be perfect for big trad climbs, but I pretty much use it for sport climbing.

My first harness was a Mammut back in 2006 and after a long break from climbing I started back at the gym. Went with a brand I trusted and had history with but this is way more comfortable than what I used to have. I know it's not an apples and oranges and comparing the two is n't fair but I 'm pretty spoiled with the wide waist belt on this harness. I got the XL and the waits is great but wish there was just a touch more adjustment to tighten the legs but it still feels fine. I 'm currently only hooking to auto belays at the gym and it's a pleasant ride back down. A few unexpected falls as well and it's been flawless.

I bought this harness for my move to France. Some of the best climbing gyms in the world are in Paris where I was based. I used it 50+ times over the past year that I lived in Paris. For this harness I would say it ’s a great price point, I felt safe using it, didn ’ t have issues with it rubbing against my skin when I wore shorts, loved the look to it, easy to break in, and got many compliments on it. Used it for top rope throughout Europe. Would highly recommend getting this to anyone looking for a good climbing harness and would get this as a gift for my friends any day.

Easy to adjust and wear, comfortable too. Use this several times a week for indoor climbing and also outdoors. Has held up nicely so far.

This harness gives me the comfort of taking big whips and light on my hips. Used the Ophir Slide 3 for years and just found a new upgrade. The hard draw loops are way nice for single pitch sport outdoors as I do n't have to worry about my draws flying all over the place. The rigid plastic keeps them close to my body allowing for faster clipping even though I 'm not that fast. Well good and love Mammut

[ I bought this harness to replace a worn out Black Diamond, and I am so glad that I did. The adjustment system is very user- friendly, and feels secure. There is no uncomfortable pinching as I send my projects, and I ca n't wait to take this outside to the local crag. Also, I love this color way. Super sharp.

I 'm 5'10 '' and about 250, and the XL fit with room to spare, but the legs did n't have much more room to grow. I love the accessory hooks and elastic components that add a lot of comfort. I also appreciate that they built in material alerts if things are fraying or wearing out. I know that the white will get dirty, but it looks great, is built well, and I really appreciate that it comes with the bag... although it's hard to fit in there after you unfold it.

I have ran through my previous orphir 3 slide and it is a fantastic overall beginner/intermediate harness. Overall use it for gym and outdoor climbing. I am more into comfort padded climbing harnesses vs lightweight and non adjustable climbing harnesses. The adjustable leg straps and hip are great and can fit me and friends if they borrow the harness. I like the wear stitching being bright red and easy to locate/see is fantastic. I also love the semi hard gear loops they can fit all my quick drawers and climbing gear when outside. Overall would definitely recommend this harness to anyone looking for a comfy great harness.

I 've been using the ophir 3 for 5 years and have had zero complaints about it. although I do n't get to climb as often as I used to, it still is very comfortable and sturdy and I have no concerns going on a climb. I have no doubt that this harness will serve me for several more years, and when I finally do have to lay it to rest, I would buy another mammut harness. 5/5 stars. Definitely recommend.

Have climbed in this a few times already and it fits very well. Holds all my gear perfectly and has been pretty comfortable as far as padding goes.

So I finally was able to use the harness due to the gym being closed, but the waist portion is a great material and doesn ’ t feel uncomfortable. The attachment loop for the d ring in the front is solid and I feel safe when climbing. The only complaint I have is the leg straps hurt when being belayed. I would recommend this to anyone getting into rock climbing. It ’s an overall well viewed brand and great product.

This harness is comfortable for a full day in the alpine. I spent 16+ hours wearing this harness scrambling, alpine trad climbing, rappelling, and doing some sketchy snow crossings. While a bit heavier than some of the Petzl options it ’s 100% worth it for the comfort.

I bought this harness because I wanted a low weight, compact harness for mountain guiding and glacier travel. It worked perfectly and was super comfortable to wear while traversing the glacier even with my backpack on. Also, in general it is a really comfortable harness to wear for top rope and gym lead. I have n't used it for sport or trad yet, but I 'll update when I have.

I originally got this harness for ice climbing as it has 6 different ice tool clipper spots( on both sides, 12 total) of the waist. This allowed me to put my ice tool clippers exactly where I wanted them versus where they have to be on other harnesses. It is very lightweight with functional gear loops. I recently took it alpine climbing and it felt awesome having it on all day, even through the more scrambly areas of the climb. Would highly recommend especially for women that have a bigger chest or hips and need to put ice tool clippers in specific spots in order to see them. I have a Large which works great with winter layers but I could have also fit a medium. I am 5' 6 '' and 170 lbs.

Somehow this harness has less padding and is lighter weight than the Ophir slide or the black diamond momentum harness, but is actually more comfortable when sitting in it for a long time. I 'd highly recommend if you have a bit more money to throw in for a harness that you want to be lightweight and still comfy. Fits true to size.

Amazin harness which is surprisingly comfortable and does not consume any space in the backpack. I am using it for trad climbing. I climb with 14 cams, 12 slings, and three sets of nuts/tricams. I also carry cordlette, belay device and bunch of lockers. All these can be comfortably clipped to the harness. The front gear loops are bigger and the gear is easy to unclip/clip. I use the front gear loops for cams and draws. The rear loops I use for nuts, lockers and belay devices. The harness has also a small gear loop at the rear in the middle. I use this for the nut tool and sometimes the radio. The harness feels good on my body and I do n't even feel it while climbing. The only little thing I found is the seem in front without any padding pushing against my bones. I did not experience it with my previous harness ocun Ego. Anyway, it is not too annoying and I might get used to it very soon.

[ The double rappel loops are perfect for 2 rope solo top- roping, takes away that over crowded, overloaded single loop syndrome.... And, its Metolius, how could you go wrong!

[ I have had this for a couple months. Wearing it is comfortable, and the gear loops work well. I really like having two belay loops too. It is uncomfortable to hang in for long periods of time, and because part of the waist band is not stitched to the tightening strap, it can be a little annoying to get on just right. For trad climbing or multipitching without hanging belays, it's great. It just wo n't replace a sport climbing harness.

moutaingoat333
[ I really like my Metolius Harness and that basically everything on this harness is a hard point. The waist buckle is an update from their old double back buckles( they are still on the leg loops which make adjustment a little tenuous) which is bomber. Contrary to many waist buckles, this one latches down on the nylon strap when it is tightened inhibiting any accidental openings of the waist strap. I think this is an improvement in speed of putting on the harness over the old double back buckles that you had to feed through each for adjustment. The foam padding is concentrated which could make long hanging belays a little uncomfortable.

[ I bought this a couple months ago and so far it ’s the most comfortable harness I ’ ve tried. I upgraded from the Petzl Corax and this is far more comfortable, and the build quality is incredible. I ’ ll probably be using Misty Mountain harnesses for good due to the great impression I have of this harness.

Charlie
[ If you 're looking for a high quality comfortable harness for all around rope climbing, look no further. Misty makes the best harnesses around, and this thing will last you a lifetime.
5
[ I ’ ll be honest. I live in NC and I buy Misty Mountain gear by default because they ’ re local. That being said, when it was time to replace my MM Turbo, I really didn ’ t consider another harness. The Turbo is light and comfortable enough for hanging all over a sport project, and has ample gear loops for long trad days. For me, it ’s a great all around harness. I will say, I don ’ t love the new color scheme, but what do I know about fashion anyway. I know this harness is comfy, functional, lightweight, and it ’ ll catch you if you fall.

[ Very low profile, barely noticable during climbing. Only criticism is that during long periods of hanging( route setting in my case), it got slightly uncomfortable, but it was still bearable.

[ I have been climbing for 30 years in total and in various iterations of this harness for a long time now. It ticks all of the boxes in terms of function, fit, and durability, and especially price. One of the things that I like most about it are the gear loops. A lot of brands put their loops too low on the harness in my opinion, which causes gear to hang down around your lower leg. I prefer things to sit higher so that everything is tighter to my body when I move. The harness trad climbs and sport climbs equally well. The only downside to it is the weight being a little on the heavy side. I prefer a 32 inch waist in pants and wear a size medium in this harness, which puts me at the bottom end of the fit and allows me to cinch the waist within a cm of all the way down. This puts the gear loops more towards the front. When you look at the size range for a harness, always make sure to consider that the measurement will be smaller than your waist size because you wear it above your hips.

[ I work at a university gym and am constantly giving long catches to new climbers who take tons of falls. This harness is a solid gym contender with great belay comfort and has the perfect amount of storage for multiple belay devices, a PAS, and extra carabiners and slings. If you ’ re looking for a no frills do all harness this is it.
5
Jerbs
[ This harness is simple but effective. No frills, only what you need. The leg straps do n't need to be tightened since all you really need to stay safe is a tight hip harness, so it makes it really comfy to put on.

[ I 've had a couple of Petzl SAMA harnesses that each lasted for years. The indoor/gym harness in particular stayed so fresh that people asked if it was a new harness for a couple years after purchase. But it was really the fit( with just a little padding), foolproof elastic leg loops, and bomber durability that brought me back for the 3rd time. The only real differences with the current version is that it looks better than ever. The heather gray is understated and contemporary- it 'll accent your insanely bright puffer or shoes. Will definitely buy again.
