I love this hammock! The ripstop material is super lightweight, but is very strong and has little stretch. The fabric is much more soft to the touch than other hammocks I have tried. [ This is a great lightweight hammock. It feels sturdy and durable and is easy to set up. The stuff case is sewed to the hammock so not only will you not lose it, but you can also use it as a pocket to put your water bottle or phone in. You do need to buy the tree straps separately, which was a little surprising to me, but all in all it's a great hammock that I intend to bring with me at every opportunity.

This is my first hammock. I bought this last summer to use at camp so I can lazy day, read and just hang out. I am in love with this. With it being winter, I am counting down the days that I can hang it back up in between my two favorite trees and hang. Its so comfortable that I have taken naps in it before. [ I have used this hammock system extensively while doing field work in remote locations of the South American rainforest. Setting up the system takes a bit of practice( you want to make sure the tarp is taunt and set up correctly so you do n't accidentally flood your hammock) but will get significantly easier over time. I have now purchased two sets for me and my sister for private use. Especially important here in FL: the net does not only keep mosquitoes away but is also( mostly) no- see- ums proof. I recommend wrapping the cord of the insect net over the `` end bits '' of the net and around the hammock strap to make sure its tight to prevent the nasties from crawling in.

I stack two kayaks on each other and pull them up together. I 'm probably getting close to the max weight that way but it works for my situation. Hardware is sturdy. Rope seems soft but has n't worn out after a few years use. Just something I keep an eye on. Works well. After all this time I expect the hardware to continue to be robust and the rope is doing better than expected. The rope may be intentionally done that way to help with the auto lock feature which is great when you ate toed and pulling up heavy loads. I 'd buy another one without hesitation.

Life is good
My canoe is finally out of the way when not in use. I love this. It was easy to install and handles the canoe perfectly. I do agree with other reviews about the strap, though. I ended up ditching the strap because I was able to connect the hooks right on to the seat. Up, up and away!

[ Nice longggggg straps. I 've used these on a fat tree. Like 1. 5 ft diameter and they fit. On smaller diameter trees, you can wrap it around a few times so your hammock does n't touch the ground. Nice straps. Very high quality.
