Example is the back of a Honda Odyssey…yes, I ’ m a dad with kids and dogs and one day I ’ ll have a rad car again, but until then I ’ ll settle on having a rad Yeti. I took it on an 8 mile hike and the only issue I had was the straps chaffed against my skin. I hike in tank tops so that was a bit of an issue for the bare skin in contact with the straps. The heavier the bag is, the more you 'll feel the chaffing. I have other bags that do n't do this. Other than this minor detail, the bag is fantastic.

Our first camping trip this spring for 5 days. The label says 6 days. Temps were high in low 70's, lows in the 40's. And we came home with ice. Great job. I froze about 15 pounds of meat in ziplocks, and placed in plastic cereal boxed shaped containers. and put two gallons of frozen ice jugs. With about 24 cans and condiments. We came home with a golf ball sized ice cube in the gallon jugs, and cold meat! One more gallon of ice and it would have made 6 days, no doubt. During a 4 day kayak/camping trip, we met a group of people who were doing the same trip as we were. They told us that racoons had eaten trough there soft sided cooler and had stolen all of their food. We shared what food we had with them since we were using Yeti bags, and the racoons, although were around us, never tried to get into our coolers. I was looking for a small cooler for little day trips and things and of course the sticker shock of the yetis was enough to make your head spin.$ 200 and they are n't even made stateside. Took a stroll down the igloo aisle because it was more of my budget and was surprised to see that they were actually made in USA! The cooler itself is great, it's small and easy to bring with you, but big enough that you can still load a decent amount of stuff in it and whether you use ice or the igloo freezer blocks, it does a great job of keeping things cold for a reasonable amount of time. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend this cooler for small day trips or if you need a lunch box. If you are like a construction worker or a truck driver or something it's perfect for that sort of thing.

I 've done both with it and it holds just the right amount of food and drinks for my and my family. This backpack is not like others in that it has a cooler in it. So not only was I able to bring my drinks and food with me; it was super cold too. The backpack is fully insulated and waterproof and holds up to twenty eight cans. I really like that the straps are padded as my back gets sore easy. It has a front pocket perfect for my keys and such. On one side there is a sleeve for your favorite drink or phone and the other a stretch cord to hold in your shoes, clothes, whatever. I definitely recommend the new OTG Traverse Cooler Backpack.

Multiple pockets provide extra space for either utensils or small items, and the padded shoulders strap makes it easy to carry the bag around for a long period of time. I researched for about 2 weeks after my “ USA made ” lifetime cooler broke after a few years of lite duty. After all the reviews and research I decided on a orca cooler and guess what? I didn ’ t make a mistake I would put this on yeti level with a better warranty and being made right here in the states. My cooler came with a big scratch on top but it looks like something shipping did. The size and the dimension layout work really well for us. It is pretty tight and vertical compared to a different brand cooler that we have that takes up more space in the back of our car, compared to our other cooler with sides that angle out taking more space. The clips/locks are easy to use and work really well. The handle is also substantially more sturdy than other coolers we have used. Very good construction.
