I need arch support to NOT have foot pain. These are great. One issue I had was that the adjustable strap was too long, as my foot is not `` very tall. '' When I tightened the adjustable strap, the strap hit the floor/ground. So, I took them to a shoe repair shop and had the straps shortened by 1 inch. Now, they are perfect for my feet.

In 2019 i bought a pair of leather strappy sandals and wore them very frequently for 6 years. The held up well. I was ready to prder another pair only to find that thet no longer made that style so I took a chance on these. I like these as well, the soles are n't leather like the older version, the fit is adjustable with a zipper and plastic `` chacos '' buckles. I enjoy the zipper addition so far. The buckles make them a little sportier but i have still dressed them up. I 've worn them quite a bit and so far have no complaints. I may consider them in another color for spring.

I was pleasantly surprised with these Bodhi's, they were comfortable right out the box. A few adjustments but not too many. The footbed is flexible. I order a wide width in Z's but these were fine, I am usually a medium width. I did size down from my regular 7. 5 and they fit perfect. I must admit I have a pair of the flips from a few years ago that I do not wear but these I definitely will, not clunky at all. I tried them because they were on sale and so glad I did. I saw the other reviews where the quality was not good so I hope mine do n't encounter the same issues. Love the mixed colors, they stand out in a good way. Unique and cute, these shoes stand out. I wore them with a dress and received many complements, but because they ’ re comfortable as well as cute I had no problem recommending them to anyone. I have been familiar with Chacos for awhile and how they are very popular due to their quality and functionality. The problem was that all of the models I saw were way to chunky and heavy and with me being a minimalist footwear fan I just couldn ’ t get with them. However, when I saw these and read some of the reviews and saw that they were less beefy and light my reason for not getting a pair of chacos was gone. I love this sandal, it ’s stylish and practical and pretty light to boot. If there was any critique I would give it would actually be for Chaco to add a huarache type sandal to the line up. You ’ ve gained a new fan in me!

I love the color scheme and I love the comfort, I am primarily a minimalist shoe/sandal person, but I needed something with just a little more protection for hiking in areas that are a little rocky and sharper. I Was hesitant to try Chaco ’s because all of the styles that I saw were super thick and very heavy. This new style so far is light, allows my toes displayed comfortably, and feels very natural on my feet. If I Could make one slight change, it would most likely be to get rid of the toll loop and make this more of a huarache style. Other than that, I am a fan.

The shoes are still comfortable and I 've worn them a lot with no issue but I 'm not sure if the 8 would have been better? If you 're between sizes it may behoove you to try on both sizes.

[ I have several pairs of both Teva and Chaco( love hiking sandles) and I wanted something extra secure and durable for some hiking trips I have coming up. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the sizing issues. Most reviews I read said to size up if you are a half size. This is usually what I do with my Tevas( Usually an 8. 5, so I buy a 9.) That being said, with this specific shoe do not size up! I had to make the velcro straps on the back heels tight to fit and they hung off the sides quite a bit. I returned them and got an 8 and they fit perfectly with plenty of extra room to adjust as needed. Also I will say you do need to break these in more than other Teva sandles I have worn because of all the straps. I got a few blisters but now that I have had them for a few weeks, they are great! super secure and comfortable:)

Bought these for Hawaii. Wore them through salt water, fresh water, over pumic and concrete streets/sidewalks- never missed a beat!! I had to rinse- n- wear and sometimes just kept going as is( depending on our activity for the day); they never failed me once. Through relatively short hikes, long walks, swimming…this shoe never caused hot- spots or blisters. Sizing: I normally wear an 11. 5- 12 so I chose an 11. 5 in this shoe. Perfect! Keep in mind, I ’ m an easy fit for shoes since I have a pretty generic foot size and shape. Extra tip, I normally spray my feet with antiperspirant but these shoes stayed wet for nearly two weeks so odor was never as issue. I ’ d buy again and definitely recommend. Last note, there was an issue with delivery due to UPS, not Keen. However, when I emailed Keen, they responded within minutes. The issue resolved itself. I was just glad to see Keen so “ Keen ” to respond quickly.

At first during the unboxing I was n't that excited when I saw the mid sole( I just spent the last 4+ years in the KEEN SOLR/green with full gum sole/much wider toe box/amazing shoe) wrap up on the toe box. Looks amazing! Performance blows looks out of the water! I had these on from Upstate South Carolina all the way to Saco Montana via RV this year. I got to test these out in all situations and they are great for whatever task is at hand. The foam mid sole and gum sole work as a team keeping your foot planted. On and off is simple. I even slide these on like a crush down heel. No matter the terrain this is a solid platform for your feet, extremely comfortable and they look pretty sweet.
