I can understand why people have some issues. If you are a serious body builder, buy another set up. I bought this with the idea of working out to stay in shape. It is perfect for that. Being able to move the bench independently from the rack is awesome. Pros-- easy to build and use. Very versatile. The leg developer is a great asset. The unit is well built and sturdy. You can turn the bench sideways and place it in front of the rack reducing the overall footprint considerably. Cons-- once you have about 80 lbs on the leg developer/preacher curl, the bench begins to get light in the back. You can place some weight on the bench to offset. Decline bench is n't going to happen without long arms or someone to lift the weight off. The rack raises and lowers just fine, but doesn not lower enough to perform decline olympic bar presses. Dumbell decline presses are just fine though. Also, the preacher curl grips do not spin so use gloves. Overall, this product is great!! The cons are few and can be remedied... minus decline press.

I like this weight bench. It is heavy duty and does the trick of getting into shape with free weights. Probably the one thing; the seat is not flush with the back. It would have been better if it the seat was not angled upward on how it sits on the frame. That is something I would change. Other than that, a great bench!

This is a great machine! It's solid and high quality, and it has enough exercise options to let me mix it up. Doing the same 5 or 6 lifts every time gets old, and it's not ideal for training. The Centr 3 allows me to hit each muscle group in multiple ways so my workouts do n't stagnate. The Smith bar is my favorite aspect of the machine. I suffered some spinal injuries several years ago, and that has really limited my ability to keep fit and mobile. In particular, squats were out of the question. My legs still have some good strength, but I have nerve damage that compromises my ability to stabilize the lift. With the Centr 3, I can rely on the mechanical stability of the Smith bar, allowing me to start reversing the muscle loss from years of `` taking it easy. '' I know I 'll never be as strong as I was before my injuries, but with Centr in my corner, I 'll be a heck of a lot closer!

I purchased the Bowflex SelectTech 2080 set this previous Thursday. I was originally looking for the fixed set of straight and curl bars, similar to the ones at the commercial gyms. When I came across the Bowflex SelectTech 2080 I knew this was the route to go for space- savings in my home gym! Prior to purchasing I had done some extensive research and was excited to make the purchase. I am 100% satisfied with the 2080 set and stand! I have used this in my workouts from Day 1 of receiving. Exercises include, skull crushers, bicep curls, shoulder press movements. I love the functionality and space- savings I am getting out of the 2080 set! As far as durability, I can see this product lasting for a long time. Granted, I am pretty easy on my equipment so no issues or concerns for reliability from the 2080 set.
