This is a very durable, flexible, and elegant dumbbell set. You can adjust the weight by adding or subtracting weight plates, which means that one pair of dumbbells allows you to do many different exercises. Yes, it takes a minute to screw the collars on and off to change weights-- but you need to rest a minute between sets anyway. And you can screw the collars on snuggly so that the weight plates do n't rattle around like other quick- adjust dumbbell sets( and this set costs far less). I bought this a week ago and so far it ’s amazing! It ’s doing everything I need it to do, and I ’ m really enjoying it, The only problem I have found is that, in one of the 20 pound plates, when I pick it up and move it around I can hear what sounds like water sloshing inside, and it seems like some parts of the plate are hollow. This is only the case for one of the plates, the others are perfect, but I ’ m not sure what to do about the plate…

Most dumbbells' weight sets include curl bars as part of the total poundage, but this vinyl weight set is fully 40 lbs of weights, which means to add the weights to your leg developer, straight bar, etc., you can count on 40 total pounds. The compact bar is really nice because you do n't have extra bar that's unnecessarily sticking out and for storage as well. The spring clip collars are easy to use. For a starter set of weights for a teenager--- this is a durable beginners set and can nicely accommodate the seasoned weightlifter as well.

Ive had this product for a few years and its a great addition to any home gym. Its the best bang for the buck, and takes up very little space. Its the same type of leg press Arnold used in the golden age, and its impossible to use the same amount of weight as you do on other leg presses. I can use 1200 for high reps at the gym i rarely go above 350 on this.... lol. its slightly similar to a hack squat... it isolates the quads and uses little hip. If u want. to blast your hips just do weighted hip thrusts.... this is great for building big quads.

It's a decent weight set. The problem I have is that when I called customer service to ask if the bar was one piece, I was told it was. I wanted the one bar strength in order to increase the weight. They were wrong. It is a 3 piece bar that is screwed together. It seems sturdy but I 'm not sure exactly how much weight the bar will hold now.

Pretty good biceps/triceps machine. Its not too big and bulky compared to others. It arrived real quickly, and was fairly easy to put together, although the directions are somewhat vague. Good quality. Make sure you have 1 inch weights, not 2 inch.
