Before I purchased this, I had the standard wire brush and bag towel. This is lightyears better. The brush did n't always dig sand and dirt out from the edges of the grooves, but with the plastic bristles you can fish everything out. Also has a `` squeegee '' style blade in case you dig up some heavy stuff. The ball marker and groove sharpener are extra little bits that make this the swiss- army knife of golf tools.

I got this as an X- Mas gift and I 've loved it. Has made cleaning my golf clubs very simple and the brushes are soft enough to not scratch up my clubs. This has made it easier and now I do n't have to carry a wet towel with me when I golf. I 'm new to this process but the tool seems to do its job. The smallest size seems to be only fractionally wider than the grooves on my old Vokey wedge which is what you might expect. It would be great if GolfWorks would include an instructional/ informational pamphlet in the package. Something to illustrate the proper technique( 45 degree angle pulling toward you) and something else to clearly explain why this tool WO N'T make your club illegal.
