This kayak is basically the exact same as the Old Town Sportsman 106 but it is a dick's only model. The price is fantastic right now and is amazing in the water. Definitely pick this up if you 're looking into kayak fishing.

Walked me through options of kayaks based on my needs and were able to help me find this one. The 106 Kayak is incredible! Stability, comfortable, great for fishing! Sit- on- top seat is great& stable enough to stand and fish. Highly recommend this kayak! It's about 70lbs and I can load and remove from roof but new kayakers I would recommend someone to help you

I bought this a few weeks ago for my husband ’s birthday and he absolutely loves it! It has proven to be extremely helpful and accurate when mapping out the water areas. It is built well and seems it will last him a good while until upgrading to the next new gadget! Anyone who loves fishing would love this tool!

[ The instructions are very simple, and though it is not the best sonar, it is an excellent entry model. I would only really trust it to read depths but I would not try to use it to navigate under water structure.

Went with the deeper instead of other fish finders because it is so easy to use for kayak and shore fishing. It is lightweight and portable. I do n't need to run wires or add another screen. I just mount my phone with the deeper mounts to my kayak or pole. It may not be the greatest transducer in the world but it's also not super expensive either.
