We could have gotten away with using the 2 burner because a large pot of water stays hot for a long time, but the 3 burner is a really stable platform for holding scalding hot

We have owned this camp stove for 14 years..... we use it for camping, but also to cook for large events at my kids' schools, and now for my school class. It's simply the best option for any outdoor kitchen. We love it.

[ I purchased a 14in explorer and converted it to natural gas. I wanted it to cook things in frying pans and not in the house. Things like fish. It works great and then I discovered the accessories and add- ons. I added the single pizza oven and it's just something else. Took a few tries to get the hang of it but I 'm enjoying the pizza now.

I have had my Explorer for 7 years now and it is going strong! We went from tent to Pop- up to Travel Trailer now and have only cooked on our CC. My Father- in- law and 2 brothers- in- law also have them. Have almost all of the accessories. My only issue is that it seems to get heavier every year?! LOL It IS the only thing we cook on, period! I also bought a CC WW smoker and the 600FTG as well!

I volunteer heavily with both the BSA and the GSA and needed something to be portable and have the ability to cook a decent amount of food. I bought the Explorer 14 2 Burner Stove And the full size griddle for it. It was easy to assemble, Easy to clean, and I was able to cook two breakfasts and a dinner with ease for a troop of hungry Girlscouts this past weekend. It also heats up water for dishes and cocao pretty fast! Looking back I wish I had also purchased the single burner griddle and the leg levelers. Overall a great stove. It is going to go with me on all future camp outs!

It's what I was wanting- from a functioning simmer up to full boil. ... I never use those little disposable bottles, so I also ordered the Mountain Series Hose& Regulator( model MS40- 6R) which allows you to connect directly to a full size tank, eliminating that annoying metal elbow

Trip Leader
I purchased the Everest 2X based on feedback from other trip leaders in my non profit group. This stove works great for fast cooking for a group and our organization is using these stoves to replace Coleman stoves. The stove goes through propane faster than Coleman stoves however so bring plenty of fuel if cooking for a group in the field. Stove is easy to set up, light and sturdy in windy conditions. So far it is everything I could want in a camp stove, looking forward to using it on upcoming trips.

Bought this because couldn ’ t get any stove fuel for my 45 year old Coleman and was on day- 1 before hurricane helene. Worked like a champ, easy to set up, burns clean. The bottle set up is a little weird, but overall love this stove. We worked it hard for 11 days straight.

A fine camp stove, quick lighting and powerful burners at 20, 000 BTUs each. For comparison, the largest burner on a home gas stove is usually 20, 000 BTUs. Folds up nicely and works flawlessly. A solid purchase.

Pro 14 two burner cooktop Went to our inaugural Halloween bike ride and one of the guys pulled out a older version of the Pro 14 two burner cooktop and griddle. I could n't believe how easily it setup, cleaned up and made a ton of food for every that came that day. It worked so well that my wife and I ordered one immediately to use on our own trips, gatherings and just some Sunday morning cookout fun. We also purchased the two burner griddle and griddle carrying bags for both the stove and griddle, so nice to keep everything neat and sorted. I 've only used it a couple of times so far but one thing i really noticed was how nice the burner control is, you can turn it down all the way and not worry about the burner flaming out. My only complaint which is minor is that the flip out red lid covers do n't sit completely flat like my friends did. Perhaps they will wear in with a bit more use.

Since we bought this for memorial day and didn ’ t get a chance to use it all summer I was starting to have buyers remorse. But after using it one long weekend I ’ m in love. We bought the griddle and the grill accessories. One of my favorite things is that which ever one I ’ m not using acts is a warmer as I continue cooking other food. I literally planned an entire three day weekend of cooking around my new camp chef cooking system even though we have a camper with a stove and oven. I wasn ’ t sure I needed the pro with the flip out shelves but now I can ’ t imagine not having them. Worth every penny.

I 'm pretty happy with this stove. It fits nicely inside my kettle, works well for larger pans( even up to 8 inches), and get's nice and hot. I paired it with stabilizer legs as with the large canisters it can get quite tall. The one downside is having to bring a separate igniter.

[ I bought this camp stove for camping off grid in our teardrop trailer. It is solidly construction and the high btu output means you can make a pot of coffee or cook your burgers in no time flat, even at high altitude. The stove is very solidly constructed and I like the fact that I can run it off LP and not those little gas bottles which offer little run time and create a lot of litter.

Long time Camper, restaurant veteran. Using stove for first time on current trip. Seems very sturdy and well made. Excellent temp control from low to big heat output. Waited a long time for stove to be in stock, disappointed that legs remain out of stock.

[ I was very pleased when receiving this stove. Nice small size for car camping, fired up very easily. Im not a fan of the igniter on any product, I always carry a lighter. But this one worked good. The only down fall are the hinges. They seem loose and kinda cheap. All in all I love this stove and plan to use it a lot this summer.

I have to agree with the majority of the people that have rated this stove anyone else was rated at less than five stars absolutely has no clue what they 're doing. I have wiped mine down repeatedly with all kinds of cleaners etc the finish on this product is second to none it's well applied powder coat and it is solid and I mean solid is not cheap tinsy little metal like some of these old camp kitchens. I especially love the burners cooking in the wind they 've held up beautifully I 'm able to boil water at no time at all and the heat that's produced by those burners is fantastic it's the last stove I think I 'll ever buy I 've got a trailer and I 've got a Jeep and it's going in both of them!

[ This Coleman burner stove makes cooking while camping so much easier for us. It does n't take up a lot of space compared to what we 've been using. It comes in a carrying case and it only weighs 12 lbs. This stove also has a rotary ignition making it easier to turn on. We also did n't experience any problems while cooking with it. I personally love that we can use this stove during emergencies, outdoors only of course, if the power ever goes. out.

This stove is great it heats well, is compact, and is easy to use. I do wish the grate had a clip or something so it did n't slide out of the well when it's time for storage, but that is minor. We have it in a Plano box we use as a mess kit so once it is in there it's pretty secure. The only suggestion would be to put the knobs for the gas and the sparker on the same side. It's a little too wide with them on opposite sides to neatly store away. Otherwise I think this will be a great addition to our camp gear. We had no issues with the flame flickering in the light breezes we encountered. It seems that as long as you 're not cooking in a head on wind it would do well. Cooled down quickly, and packed away neatly. Thank you Coleman for offering American made products that are well built.

[ Coleman is a trusted brand name renowned for quality and for good reason. This shows that mighty things can, and do, come in small packages. We use this bad boy for car camping and also when the electricity goes out. It's compact enough not to take up too much space( you know, when packing ALL the things for a trip!), and easily cleans up and stores. I even found it easy to use- lol, so that's saying a lot!

[ I received this item for free from influenster in return for an honest review! As someone who enjoys camping and hiking in nature, having a camping stove is so so convenient! We have an older version of this Coleman one, that works well, but is very old and rusty now. So getting this new Coleman cascade 222 was such a treat! I love the design of it because it is so easy to carry with the handle, and it closes securely with a latch. So it is also easy to store as it won ’ t take up much space! It comes with two burners that fit a 12 and 10 inch pans! It also has wind covers which comes in handy a lot! I really like this stove and it is also so easy to clean! Just wipe it down and you ’ re done. If you ’ ve been thinking about getting a camping stove, I would definitely suggest this one!

In my opinion this is the best Coleman Stove. The clicking igniter is more durable than the push button type and it does n't move the whole stove when trying to lite- up. The wind deflectors are simple and perform as advertised, the grate is durable and provides adequate support. I expect to have 50 year life with this stove in which it will outlast me. I have been using Coleman camping products since 1963 and this retro stove is the one to buy.

[ This actually comes double boxed which I really like because it protects the product. It is very heavy because of the pot being cast iron. The pot is a 5 gallon cast iron with feet and it's pre- seasoned which is awesome. It also has an aluminum lid to cover the pot. The frame of the pot you bought together so it's provides extra sturdiness for the cooker. It's heated by using a propane tank. This is awesome for tailgating or for camping because even though it's called the jambalaya pot you can virtually cook tons of stuff in this like chili or soups or do a fish fry. The only thing it says you can not use it for is to fry a whole turkey which is understandable because it's only 5 gallon. If you love camping or tailgating or just like to have a pot instead of a grill this is awesome to have. For my large family we do a lot of Chili's and gumbos and soups so this is going to really be great on our next camping trip in a couple of weeks

Perfect to fry Baja style fish for tacos... Keep the mess and smell outside!
Large burner stoves offer increased cooking space and heat output, making them ideal for preparing meals for larger groups or during camping trips. They provide the ability to use multiple pots and pans simultaneously, which can significantly speed up meal preparation. Additionally, the larger burners typically allow for better heat distribution, ensuring that food cooks evenly.
Large burner stoves can operate on various fuel types, including propane, butane, and natural gas, depending on the model. Propane is a popular choice for outdoor stoves due to its efficiency and portability. It's essential to check the stove's specifications to ensure compatibility with the fuel type you plan to use.
Many large burner stoves are designed to withstand various weather conditions, making them suitable for outdoor use year-round. However, performance can vary based on the stove's construction and features. It's advisable to look for models with windshields or sturdy designs that can handle windy or rainy conditions effectively.
When selecting a large burner stove, consider the number of people you typically cook for and the types of meals you plan to prepare. Stoves with multiple burners can be beneficial for cooking different dishes at once. Additionally, think about the portability and weight of the stove if you plan to transport it frequently.
Key features to consider include the number of burners, heat output, and overall size of the cooking surface. Look for stoves with adjustable flame controls for precise cooking and those that offer easy ignition systems. Durability and ease of cleaning are also important factors, especially for outdoor use.
