Just wore these boots for the first time. They were wonderful! I wore them outside for many hours working outside and they were so comfortable, warm but not too warm.

This company rocks. I have 2 boots from them and bought my husband one pair- all three are well- made, look good, functional and long lasting. All the things you want in a work boot. I normally wear a 9. 5- size 9 fits perfect and size 10 is too big. So I 'd say that the sizes run slightly bigger, which I personally love too!

Frequently Asked Questions For Leather Duck Boots

Leather duck boots are designed for a variety of outdoor activities, particularly in wet or cold conditions. They provide excellent waterproof protection, making them ideal for rainy days, snow, or muddy terrains. Many people wear them for hiking, casual outings, or even for daily wear during the fall and winter months.

When selecting leather duck boots, consider features such as waterproofing, insulation, and traction. A good pair should have a durable leather upper, a waterproof rubber sole, and a comfortable lining for warmth. Additionally, look for boots with a slip-resistant outsole to ensure stability on slippery surfaces.

Leather duck boots combine the waterproof qualities of traditional rain boots with the added benefits of insulation and style. While rain boots are typically made from rubber and designed solely for wet conditions, leather duck boots often feature a leather upper for added durability and a more fashionable appearance, making them suitable for various outdoor activities.

Many leather duck boots are designed with comfort in mind, featuring cushioned insoles and supportive structures. However, comfort can vary between brands and styles, so it's important to try them on and assess the fit. Look for boots that provide good arch support and allow for some flexibility to ensure comfort during extended wear.

Leather duck boots are well-suited for cold, wet, and muddy conditions. They perform best in rain, snow, and slush, thanks to their waterproof construction and insulation. However, they may not be ideal for extremely hot weather, as the leather can retain heat and cause discomfort in warmer temperatures.

To maintain your leather duck boots, it's important to clean them regularly and apply a waterproofing treatment as needed. Use a damp cloth to wipe off dirt and debris, and allow them to dry naturally. Additionally, consider using a leather conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent cracking over time.
