[ I have many wool items but the Smartwool ultralight 120 collection is amazing for hot summers. I wore this hoodie at Disney in Anaheim in mid- August and it offered sun protection while keeping me cool and dry. At night when things cooled off it offered the perfect amount of warmth. I do wish that the collar was a little more open but then it would n't be as great for sun protection. Highly recommend.

I will definitely purchase another one as long as they continue to make them. The jackets run a bit small in my opinion. I 'm a size small/6 shirt c36 and I needed at minimum a size large to fit not too loose but not too tight.

[ I found this a very well made unique jacket but returned after some hesitation because I 'm not sure how it fits in with my other jackets. It seems to me to be not formal enough to wear to semi casual or slightly dressy dinners nor small, close fitting enough to be a nice fitting layer inside other jackets or for running- I just do not know how to make good use of it. [ This hoodie can go everywhere from hiking to work to travel. I initially got a small size. It would work great with a sports bra or tank for more streamline effect.
