With a more durable toe box material and full rubber sole, these are improved from a materials standpoint over the 14. The bright green looks great—quite like the photo, so no surprise there. Fit and feel is about the same as the 14—it ’s a mid+ cushion shoe, on the narrow- ish side of the market. It ’s got a buoyant feel, without being too bouncy or overly squishy. Runs nicely, but I ’ m not wowed by this shoe. I have a low volume foot, and running shoes generally feel a little sloppy on me. While a bit roomy in the toe, the peregrine allows me to lock in my heel and mid foot well enough that I have decent control, but they ’ re no La Sportiva, which fit like a glove. The Peregrine 15 are quite a bit more cushioned than most of La Sportiva, and I ’ m in a comfort stage of trail running, so I ’ m on my second pair.

The first day I wore them, my legs hurt, but I gave it a few more days and my body adapted to the new shoes and I have no complaints. I got these for walking. So far I walked 50km in these and they feel amazing. My estimated normal size is ~13. 2 but since no one makes size 13. 5 I 'm usually either a bit cramped( big toe pushed inwards) in a 13 or swimming in a 14. I got these in size 14 and while they are slightly long, the lockdown around the midfoot is excellent and long length has never been a problem- on the contrary, I enjoy the airy feel in the toe box. The cushioning is just right for walking( or heavier runners)- it's noticeably stiffer than a typical running shoe so I do n't feel like I 'm walking on quicksand. I walked up to 15km per day in these, spending on my feet all day, and there was never any foot pain and my legs felt awesome. Moreover, I risked going on a trip wearing just these, having just purchased them- no blisters! I dig the black/white/gum style as it fits quite well with regular clothes.

I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I have had the ride 17 for several months now and I LOVE these shoes! I enjoyed my previous rides( 15) but I did have several small issues with them and the ride 17s have fixed all of these issues! The ride 15s always felt a little narrow on my foot and they were hard to get on…the 17s fit wider and my foot slips into them easily! I have actually considered going down half a size but I live in an area that gets very hot in summer so decided to stick with my size 7s to allow for swollen feet! The previous 15s had very short laces and I had trouble doing double knots for race day…the 17s have lovely long laces so no need now for double knots! There is now a loop on the back of the heel which really helps with getting the shoe on! And they are. very cushioned as well as being responsive! I have been able to do faster sprint workouts( strides) which is really helping with my confidence for improving my next half marathon time! I have a spring half I am preparing for as well as a fall marathon, and although I would love to move up to a plated shoe( such as the endorphin speed 4) my budget doesn ’ t allow for another purchase right now so I will stick with the 17s.

I also under- pronate and have plantar fasciitis so it is hard to find shoes that do n't make my feet ache. The Ride is one of my favourite go to shoe from Saucony. It is a true runners' shoe in the sense that it is the total package; cushioning, flexibility, and responsiveness with a touch of inherent stability. The updates of the Ride see it getting lighter, with improved cushioning and fit. I recently did a 50k rail trail race and they held up well; my legs were n't as beat up as they usually are after a long race. It is a great shoe for just about any type of run including hard tempo efforts and Marathon paced efforts. If you didnt want to spend cash on a plated trainer, then this could be a single quiver shoe for the conscientious consumer. My only concern is that the rubber on the outsole is beginning to wear quickly. Although it is likely an aesthetic issue, it is something worth pointing out. Overall, I believe the shoes will last a long time due to the amount of overall cushioning and I will continue to pile up the miles on my new Rides.

Very lightweight but not sprinter thin. It is good for a longer run like 400 or 800 up. Fits well normally the shoe size I buy is 13 and this was a 12. 5. It is a snug fit but good for a race. I would recommend this shoe. It has had some track action and still holding up well

First off the spike is super light. So far I ’ ve only ran 3k steeple in these but I can not wait to lace em up for a 5k. They feel fast, and propel you forward without being too aggressive, so it is fantastic for distance. Only recommendation is more color ways

I bought this spike for some upcoming 5k/10k track races and ended up with huge PR's of 14: 58/ 30: 56 the first two times using this spike! They felt exceptionally smooth and durable for the 10k( much better comfort and energy level than compared to previously used dragonfly's) with a very light feel. I believe these spikes lose their comfort the shorter the distance becomes however, as I personally would not recommend using these in a race shorter than 1500m. Additionally, I have had two instances of blisters forming on my heel as a result of these spikes, so I would be weary of racing in these without sturdier socks/ band- aid for cushioning.

Been wearing this brand for 10+ years... I love it for running, and this shoe is very similar to styles I 've purchased before. It does run narrow and I have thinner feet, so it's a close fit( maybe too narrow for wider feet) but for running that's what I want. Personally, I do n't care for the super bright colors and wish there were more neutral or dark options( a few years ago they had a black shoe with blush accents and that was my FAVE), but the blue and fuchsia is n't overly bright so that's the one I got. Overall it will be a good running shoe and serve it's intended purpose.

I have used these as my racing spikes in Cross Country for 2 seasons, and they have worked phenomenally. They are very comfortable for spikes. I tried on many other pairs, but all of them felt uncomfortable. But when I tried these, they just worked. They are a very reliable pair of shoes. So reliable, in fact, that I take out the spike pins so that I can run pavement races in them. Plus, my family can easily find me in a race because of my pink shoes. Overall, this is a great product that I would highly recommend.

I bought these originally for my sons spring track season. He now uses them for Cross Country and on a soft enough surface loves them for the 5k. Loves the fit, the aggressiveness and response. Wo n't wear anything else on course. on harder surfaces puts in plugs for the spikes and instant fast flat. These are made to PR and have been worth every penny!

We have had the Adizero TYO and recently the Nike Dragonfly, and so far these seem like better spikes. More supportive, lighter and very aggressive roll. Have used them in an 800 and 1500 so far. Will also be using them for the 3200m. Interesting that no top runners use these, but will use Hoka or UA. Does n't make a lot of sense given how good these seem. I 'm not sure why Saucony does n't sponsor anyone on the track.

These shoes are very comfortable. I 'm so happy with this purchase! First off, the blue colorway is fire and the easy on feature is what I was hoping for. I mainly use these for walking but when I do need it for runs, it feels very secure around the top that I wo n't have a problem with slippage. The Nike app and website was spot on for sizing up for fit. I normally wear a 10. 5 but went with the 11s per Nike's suggestion and it fits perfectly. They feel super supportive and like I 'm walking on clouds at the same time.
