Even though it's wider and heavier than some boards, it still cuts through water like butter. I bought this board for the purpose of paddling with both of my preschool aged children, and it worked like a dream. I 've also ridden this board with my partner, a combined 350lbs, and the board held both of us extremely well. This is an extremely stable and well balanced board for riding tandem with adults, children, or even pets. There is more than enough room on this board for your coolers, snorkeling gear, whatever you want to take along with you. With the number of accessories that come with this board, and the bag to carry it all, plus your life jackets and more, it's a no brainer. I bought this over a month ago and I couldn ’ t be happier. We ’ ve been out with about eight times. I bought this paddleboard for my wife. She ’s been out four times now and as she had to even fall, it is very stable. I thought four people had a paddle board and they were up and boarding in less than five minutes each. I ’ ve watched other people on a cheaper boards, try to learn and spend the whole day falling. The other day I took the board out and had my wife ride by bigger board and I absolutely love it. It ’s quick and sporty. All in all incredible experience.
