Purchased to use instead of a Lew's slingpack. Positives: storage for 2 3700 packs plus the front pocket allows for storing soft plastics. Good value at the clearance price. Front waterproof pocket allows to store my phone. There are 2 clear pockets inside that I 'm using to store partial reels of line. Negatives: The Lew's had 2 mesh pockets on the side to allow for storage of tools. There is a velcro flap on the strap that I 'm using for storing a set of pliers but no option for line cutters or other small tools. Overall: I 'm happy with the quality of the pack. Gives my more overall storage compared to the Lew's. Definitely would recommend at the clearance price. Would n't purchase at the original price.

I love the size- not too small for short trips/ hikes. Plenty of room and features for just enough stuff. The ambidextrous shoulder strap is a nice feature that allows me to share this with family and friends. An exterior pouch for a water bottle would be about the only upgrade I ’ d recommend, but it was easy enough to clip a bottle to the loop built into the pack without any carrying problems. Highly recommend this pack. Light, sturdy and well made. Can ’ t go wrong with the Osprey lifetime product guarantee either!

This is another high quality Osprey product but it was just too small for me. Great design however and excellent bag if you want something smaller so recommended for the right person.

A load sling backpack is designed for easy access and comfort, featuring a single strap that allows it to be worn across the body. Unlike traditional backpacks with two straps, load sling backpacks distribute weight differently, making them ideal for quick trips or outdoor activities where you need to grab items on the go. They often have a compact design, making them suitable for carrying essentials without the bulk.
Load sling backpacks are typically made from durable materials such as nylon or polyester, which provide resistance to wear and tear. Many models also feature water-resistant coatings to protect your belongings from the elements. Additionally, some backpacks may include eco-friendly materials, reflecting a commitment to sustainability.
Load sling backpacks are versatile and can be used for a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, or casual outings. Their compact size makes them perfect for carrying essentials like water bottles, snacks, and personal items without feeling cumbersome. They are also great for day trips where you need quick access to your gear.
When selecting a load sling backpack, consider the capacity you need based on your activities. Smaller models are great for minimalists or short outings, while larger options can accommodate more gear for longer adventures. It's also important to ensure that the backpack fits comfortably on your body, allowing for easy movement and access.
Yes, many load sling backpacks are designed with comfort in mind, featuring padded straps and ergonomic designs that help distribute weight evenly. However, comfort can vary based on the specific design and fit, so it's advisable to try on different styles to find one that suits your body type and intended use. Proper adjustment of the strap can also enhance comfort during extended wear.
