The ambidextrous shoulder strap is a nice feature that allows me to share this with family and friends. An exterior pouch for a water bottle would be about the only upgrade I ’ d recommend, but it was easy enough to clip a bottle to the loop built into the pack without any carrying problems. Wide long pouch for up to 3 paddles( maybe 4 if the narrow long pouch is n't used for anything bulky 3. Narrow long pouch, useful for gloves and sun visor 4. Back side small zipper pouch( I keep lip balm, bandaids, and hand warmers in there) 5. Back side full width pouch( velcro closure at halfway point) is useful as it will allow me to stick an extra regular sized disposable water bottle in one half of it.
