This is my only go- everywhere bag that I take with me any time I leave the house. I ’ ve been using it for three years and I love it as much as the day I got it. I keep my phone in the back top- zippered compartment, and AirPods and lip balm in the small front pocket. In the main compartment slip pocket I have a notebook, pen, stain remover; in the rest of the compartment, I have alcohol hand spray, a pack of tissues, prescription glasses in their case standing up, and beside the glasses a Fjällräven pencil case in which I carry my must- haves( Advil, pocket knife, measuring tape, Bandaids, sanitary pad, alcohol wipes, nail file, hair elastic, eye glasses spray cleaner, snack). The glasses case and the Fjällräven pencil case stand up perfectly side by side, and in front of them I keep my Fjällräven Zip Wallet( filled with approximately 15 cards and cash). All of these items combined fit into the Sling without issue, and I can still put my large set of keys inside if I don ’ t want them in my pocket or clipped to the sturdy strap. In one of the side pockets, I keep a reusable bag. For a bag this small, it ’s amazing all that it can hold, and it ’s super comfortable to wear and have on all day. My one word of caution is to not wear the bag with any kind of delicate athletic/spandex- type clothing since the heavy- duty woven strap can snag or pull the fabric. For people who talk about colour transfer, please use common sense. If you buy the bag in a light colour, yes, of course, it will get dirty( the light colours make no sense to me and don ’ t blame the company for that)!! Similarly, yes, do not wear the bag in a dark colour rubbing against a white shirt. It ’s obvious from the material of the Sling that colour can transfer in both ways. I have mine in Dark Forest( same colour as my backpack and several items of clothing) and absolutely adore it. I love how I can grab the bag by the handles or the long strap, how everything is securely zipped, how hard- wearing the material is, and how I can also hook things to the bag if necessary. I can ’ t recommend it enough.

This little but mighty backpack will be perfect for when I am abroad, which is twice a year for a month each time, because it is not heavy or too big for my frame. When I ’ m out and about sightseeing or hiking, I only need a few items, not a great big, heavy leather backpack. I will also use it as my every- day- carry as my handbag/purse. i usually hate splurging on bags because they never tend to last, but i ’ ve had my sling in clay for about two years now- i ’ m a super accident prone person, and i needed a bag that could deal with getting thrown around or beat up. it ’s been handling that very well! there ’s some minor discoloration/scratches on the bag, but all issues are solely cosmetic and would probably come out with a gentle wash:) carries a good deal of stuff( calculator, phone, glasses, etcetera) and i get tons of compliments on it. definitely worth buying if you ’ re a mess like me haha

I fish mostly salt, Gulf of Mexico down to the Keys. The pack is perfect for walking beaches and flats sight fishing. The color is perfect. Blends in with everything and does not conduct heat as much as my previous bag. I 100% reccomend this bag if you are a minimalist and fish in the extreme that require extra clothing and hydration. Holds my H2O rain gear, GPS two 6x4 fly boxes and extra reel, leaders and first aide. The only improvement I would make is to add an adjustment to the top of the shoulder strap so you can adjust exactly where the tool and fly patch go on your chest, but more importantly have the ability to dial in where the second wrap around strap comes around under your arm. I am a big guy and the straps are more than long enough, just wish I could get it to connect a couple inches low. Not a game changer, still comfortable, but it could be improve.

This is the most convenient bag I have tried out for carrying enough equipment for an enjoyable afternoon of pickleball. Bought this to carry on my back while riding my motorcycle. It's perfect and despite being smaller, I was able to carry everything I needed in it. Even when loaded down it does n't feel like I have anything on my back. The only downside is when I 'm riding is that it shifts, but I may be able to buy a strap to anchor it, so it does n't shift. Other than that, it is fantastic! Plus, the price point is great as well!

There are many pockets and pouches. You could stuff lots and lots in this bag. Everything stayed dry. I 've had this bag more than a year-- so why so long to write a review? Lot's of things look good on in the store. Plenty of things have room for gear and comfortable straps. This bag did both and I really like it. That its help up through countless tosses into the closet and the back of the car, so many hurried pulls on a zipper because I told my wife we finished playing 10 minutes ago and I should already be headed home for dinner... it's held up and thought you 'd like to know.

Nicely designed with respect to pockets. There are actually 7 separate compartments: 1. Side pouch( perfect for 2 balls or a water bottle) 2. Wide long pouch for up to 3 paddles( maybe 4 if the narrow long pouch is n't used for anything bulky 3. Narrow long pouch, useful for gloves and sun visor 4. Back side small zipper pouch( I keep lip balm, bandaids, and hand warmers in there) 5. Back side full width pouch( velcro closure at halfway point) is useful as it will allow me to stick an extra regular sized disposable water bottle in one half of it. Also useful for anything extra that I just want to shove in there temporarily to get to and from the car. 6. Upper front zipper pouch good for thin things( holds my slim credit card wallet and keys) 7. Lower front zipper pouch( can accommodate thicker items like sunglasses if only 1 or 2 paddles are in the bag) Zippers are smooth and easy. Fence hook is tucked into a pouch at the top of the back side of the bag. Back strap can be hooked to bottom left or right side for your preference.

I love this little bag. I hate purses, but none of my dresses have pockets, so I need a way to carry stuff. I put my phone( has a popsocket wallet on it) in the main compartment with a small flannel hanky and my travel toothbrush in the tiny sleeve pocket inside. I use the zipper pocket for my keys. Perfect. Be aware that neither the inside sleeve pocket nor the zipper pocket are the entire length of the bag; I really wish they were- it would make fitting my car keys in the zipper pocket a whole lot easier. [ Excellent service. Thank you so much. Your people are such a joy to work with. However the product zipper has a latent defect that has not been corrected. The zipper doesn ’ t hold up. Only lasts about a year then the cloth part of zipper goes bad. I ’ ve returned daylite many times. While I appreciate the all might guarantee, it ’s still a hassle to continue this process.
