All in all, this is a great tent for a quick 15 minute set up at night. ... But I personally love more room to sprawl out in a tent! ... My wife, dog, and I love this tent for backpacking, car camping, and everything else that allows us to

[ Marmot has amazing customer service. I had an issue and they replaced the well used tent at no cost. This is my favorite 3 season tent- and I own 4 others from high- end manufacturers. Well thought- out, large, fast setup, durable in wind( used in ~50mph). It's my go to below tree line.

[ We have only used it 3 times but so far so good. Seems tough and it kept the water out. It did well in strong winds. We haven ’ t backpacked with it yet. My girlfriend, two dogs( 60 and 80 lbs), and me( 6 ’ 1 ” 200 lbs) all fit inside comfortably.

[ We bought this tent for backpack camping. Its for two of us. My husband is over 6 feet so we were worried about getting too small of a tent. The tent is perfect for the two of us plus our gear or our dog. Its lightweight and wasy to split the load.

Backpacking game changer. Do n't get me wrong, I still love my Tungsten... but this will be the tent coming with me for long overnights. The weight is insane,& the parts still feel durable. I purchased the 3 person, but typically only use it for 2 people. It's BIG& spacious, which I love. If you want to save a tiiiiny bit of weight, the 2 person is great too. But I personally love more room to sprawl out in a tent!

The footprint is fairly lightweight and is a perfect fit. Even though it is n't needed with this tent, i got it just to extend the life of the tent and am glad I did. It also keeps the bottom of the tent clean making packing the tent faster and easier.

[ Footprint for the Marmot Tungsten UL 2P tent. I have n't used it yet, but I expect it will do what it's supposed to do. Difficult to find, so was glad to find it available here.

Holds down the fort tirelessly but the stitching causes capture of water during rains versus a normal one sided ribbed stitch.

[ While a little on the heavy side, this is a great tent to start backpacking with. I 've taken it out a few times now and it has worked out great. The tent is very roomy, I had space ar my head and feet to store gear amd the vestibule had plany of room for my pack. This is a solid tent.

[ So far, so good. On my first trip out with the Tungsten 1 person tent, it rained pretty heavily in the middle of the night and not a drop of water inside. It is a super small tent, but that's to be expected for such a light backpacking option.

[ Great tent- easy to set up and super high quality. Stood up to high winds and rain/hail. Small enough to easily pack into the front compartment of Jackson Cuda Kayak, with plenty of room to spare Highly recommend!

[ I recently completed the 20 mile Manistee River Loop Trail and spent two nights in this tent. I have absolutely no regrets about this purchase as the tent performed flawlessly. It is incredibly easy to set up/take down within minutes, had plenty of room for me inside and for my backpack in the vestibule, and there was adequate ventilation with no condensation despite the nights being cool. Best of all, the footprint is included so there is no additional expense for this important component to help protect the floor. All in all, I am extremely pleased with my Marmot 1p Tungsten Tent!

[ Well, I do trust my life on it. Light. Colors are different than BD so keep that in mind. Green is close to BD# 1, Black is close in size to BD. 75, and so on.

[ Metolius ultralight master cams are amazing. They are ridiculously lightweight compared to other cams, especially in the larger sizes. Highly recommended

[ I bought this cam to fill the gaps between that other famous cam company's cams, and the Metolius Ultralight Master Cam delivered! There's a crack at the gym that's too big for# 0. 75 and too small for# 1, and this cam fits like magic! The next weekend, I ran into that exact size at Devil's Lake and placed this cam. I did n't fall on it, but the placement seemed bomber to me and my second! This is a single axle cam, and I learned with double axle cams. So the range finder dots really help me. The stem is flexible but not my first choice on a horizontal placement. The design of the cam lobe surfaces is confidence inspiring and seems like it would bite on Wisconsin quartzite.

[ I am never a micro cam prefer user because I don ’ t like to fall on those, but somehow these cams are super helpful when I am going in some tiny and thin crack, fit well and easy to use. The blades works well and will consider for the off set too!

[ I run a double rack of these little guys from 00- 4 and they 're my favorite small cams. A) They 're the cheapest by a wide margin( which is great for the dirtbags out there) B) Metolius customer service ROCKS if you need them repaired, reslung, or cleaned C) They 're durable. I 've weighted, whipped, and aided on all of mine and they 're no worse for wear. The only thing is the little plastic trigger connector things seem to wear out the fastest and only Metolius can fix them( see above) D) Great range, size overlap, and `` stick '' factor. I find the little range finder nice, but it is n't a critical thing for me. And these seem to stick better than other small. cams( save for Totems and Aliens). E) These things are friggen' light! With CAMP Nano 22s, these are some. of the lightest cams on the market. My only gripe is they get kinda floppy in the bigger sizes. The 5 and 6 are a bit floppy, but not any moreso than other small cams so it is n't a deal- breaker for me. The 7 and 8 are even floppier, so I prefer Camalots or Friends for those sizes( but unless you 're using Utralight Camalots, the weight difference may persuade you towards the mastercams) I have aided on them and the lack of a thumb loop has yet to bother me or prevent me from making a move, but others may feel differently. For an aid- heavy rack, I 'd probably look at other cams. For free climbing, the lack of a thumb loop has NEVER bothered me, but that's mostly personal preference.
