Just purchased these waders, and they appear very well made and rugged. I certainly hope they 're not discontinued( it almost seems that way when I read the Frogg Toggs lineup, ever since the introduction of the Hellbenders anyway) because I want to recommend them to numerous friends. They 're built so much better than the economy waders I 've been using( which after a season or so developed leaks I could n't find, and no amount of shoe goo would keep me from having a legful of water and two soggy socks, every trip). I try to be easy on gear and I fully expect to use these fine Sierran waders for many, many years. I have yet to get them into the water but if they leak there's a full- year warranty. They 're REALLY well made. I 'm just under 6' 1 '' and about 188 pounds, and the `` LARGE '' are perfect for me.( Other afffordable waders need XL for me but these are pretty true to size-- they still have room for a fleece jacket and other warm clothing, too.)

I had to hike through some rugged territory to get to a favourite location, figured i done them in on day one. [ I 'm new to the fly fishing game, but these appear to be great waders. I have n't used them yet because I live in Arizona and we do n't have water here, but I plan to soon. The sizing is very true and I am glad the picture is not actual size because if it was they would barely fit on my finger. Everyone says that Simms are the trusted name in wading equipment and from what I see so far, that appears to be very much the case.
