Got these because I wanted vegan running shoes and this was the only running shoe that was listed in that category. It says its a cross between a trail runner and hiking shoes and does work for jogging, far nicer than my vegan sambas for that. Wish you guys would add more street running shoes tho, would def pick some up real quick if you added some. These are big but I think that 's the point, lacing them up tight let me jog in them with no issues, actually felt super nice and bouncy for jogging; these have a ton of cushion compared to sambas.

Was looking for a low profile hiker I could also run in and this has the combination of rugged durability and quickness.
When selecting men's hiking shoes, consider features such as waterproofing, breathability, and traction. Look for shoes with durable outsoles that provide grip on various terrains, as well as cushioning for comfort during long hikes. Additionally, consider the shoe's weight and flexibility, as these factors can impact your overall hiking experience.
Men's hiking shoes are typically made from a combination of synthetic materials, leather, and mesh. Synthetic materials often provide waterproofing and durability, while mesh allows for breathability. Leather can offer additional support and protection, making it a popular choice for rugged terrain.
Choosing the right size for men's hiking shoes is crucial for comfort and performance. It's recommended to try on shoes with the socks you plan to wear while hiking, as this can affect fit. Ensure there is enough room in the toe box and that your heel is secure without slipping, as this will help prevent blisters during long hikes.
The best type of hiking shoes varies based on the terrain you'll be navigating. For rocky or uneven trails, look for shoes with sturdy soles and good ankle support. On the other hand, lightweight shoes may be suitable for well-maintained paths or casual hikes. Consider your hiking style and the specific conditions you expect to encounter.
Mid-cut hiking shoes offer additional ankle support and protection, making them a good choice for rugged or uneven terrain. Low-cut options, however, are typically lighter and more breathable, which can be beneficial for day hikes or warmer conditions. The choice between mid-cut and low-cut shoes ultimately depends on your hiking needs and personal preference.
To extend the lifespan of your hiking shoes, it's important to clean them regularly and store them properly. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Additionally, rotating between pairs can help reduce wear and tear, allowing each pair to recover between hikes.
