The boot is fairly lightweight and rugged. Very simple boot without much to it. Fits true to size and is able to lace up securely. Not as stiff as most other wading boots. I like that it has the metal rivets along the eyelights for the laces. These boots appear as if they were made to last. I would recommend this boot to others. It was a tad bulkier than what it appears in the picture, but not excessively so. Fits well with a lot of good support. Easy to walk in for a long day of fishing.

I love this shoe for it's stability and outdoor- ability. I do a lot of walking, training and working outdoors, and need a shoe with fantastic support and stability due to a previous foot injury. The SFB is the bomb- totally fits the bill. It has a wide platform, is supportive but flexible once worn a couple of times and it's easy to clean. I have had some trouble with the rear of the shoe wearing out, and they are 'slick' before you wear them in, but these are minor things.

They 're tough, take a beating, and look cool too. You should go a half size up for a good fit as these do run a bit small. I have a wider foot, which this shoe accommodates perfectly. These were for my husband and he said, `` They are very light. Very comfortable. And, they feel like they are instantly broken in. '' We did n't rate durability, because the shoes are new still, but he does wear Carhartt work boots. His union gives him a boot stipend once per year and the old ones are never worn out, so he is hoping for that same level of durability.

I appreciate the rear foot stability provided by the deep snug heel counter. I got a great fit by removing the insoles to insert my custom full length foot orthotics. A few triangles of synthetic material seem to be somewhat breathable. The forefoot is flexible and roomy, for the balls of the feet and the toes. Good ground feel and ‘ touch ’. They have a cool classic look. These days in Nike, I am either a Men ’s 11 or 11. 5 Medium. The 11. 5 is just right- with thin socks, like the Nike Spark socks.
