I am a bike packer and gravel rider. I underestimated how good this fleece would be on the bike. It breathes super well but is warm on the downhills. Conversely it is stylish at work. It is a base/ mid layer, not a bulky fleece. It ’s streamlined enough to wear on a bike or running. I can see this as a base layer for skiing this winter and nordic ski adventures. It ’s light enough to come along backpacking or bike touring.

[ I am always leery with fleece because I can get REAL hot REAL fast. Luckily, this pullover is thin, light, and breathable. It 's nearly summer, so I wore it inside my 73 degree house and never felt too warm. This blue color is very solid- not too dark or light- and will look good with slacks as well as jeans without making you look like you 're wearing a onesie. The material is very soft does n't feel rough on your arms or around the neck.

Like the other reviewers I was skeptical about how thin the material was. However, after wearing it snowboarding and Nordic skiing as a mid layer, it is awesome. The only downside I can tell is that the thumb holes are aligned in a way that sort of twists the sleeves. Also the seam line across the chest can be a little annoying to feel. Otherwise, warm and worth the upgrade.
