Probably my favourite fleece. I own two. My first in dark olive is about 5 years old stood up well through outdoors work and chores got a bit bobbled but I gave it a shave not long ago and it looks as good as new. Second is a Navy one bout a year old I save for best. No bobbling or damage looks great both wash well and have good warmth. I Keep checking back for a black one but to no avail.

I am a bike packer and gravel rider. I underestimated how good this fleece would be on the bike. It breathes super well but is warm on the downhills. Conversely it is stylish at work. It is a base/ mid layer, not a bulky fleece. It ’s streamlined enough to wear on a bike or running. I can see this as a base layer for skiing this winter and nordic ski adventures. Very light weight. Packing compressed it a lot and it took a couple days for it to expand out. My first time wearing it was in 30 degrees and it kept me very warm. I am 5' 6 '' and a large was a good fit for me, especially for arm length. I am a little concerned about longevity because of how light weight it is, but time will tell on that. Material and stitching are top notch and the jacket is very comfortable to wear. I HATE the feeling of gortex and this has more of silky feel inside and out, which is perfect. For a general use winter jacket this is perfect.

[ I came across this jacket when searching for a synthetic alternative to my down jacket for backpacking. And while it 's maybe just a little too heavy and bulky for my ultralight goals, I bought it because I liked it so much in general( tried in on in a store, bought it on Mossejaw). And now I wear it anytime the weather 's a little chilly. It 's warm, a great fit-- not too tight, not too baggy-- and the material just feels great. I 've also had it out in light rain for half an hour or so, and nothing soaked in. So it really is at least a little water repellent. Only con is, I do n't like the double, left- handed zipper, but I 'll get used to it. And who knows, maybe I 'll end up bringing it on a backpacking trip, since I like it so much. Glad I bought it during the big sale!
