Men's Oxford Shoes with Rubber Soles

I ordered Oxford dress shoes I saw my order confirmed for Oxford PTC. I liked how the PTC looked so I did not complain about it. When I get new shoe I usually have to buy a thicker foam insoles. I had to do that with this pair of shoes as well. I like how well I can walk all day in these shoes. Usually I buy hard toe shoes, but I am experimenting with the bumper toe. I already slammed my toes into a cart wheel, the bumper toe protected my toes, no pain. I am a nurse, moving fast, making turns. These shoes stay on and perform very well.

The shoes are well made and I can already tell they will be very durable in a greasy, dirty environment.( Transmission mechanic). The oil resistant does have a more open tread pattern so they wo n't collect the oil and dirt and cake up with it. However, these are not what I would call comfortable. The leather on the upper is very stiff and hard on your feet, the insoles are kind of hard. They are getting better as I break them in, but still not great. I 'm not sure I would buy a second pair after this one.

[ The previous sole on the Oxford was prone to delamination and posed a tripping hazard in certain situations. This new, one piece sole is beyond great. It has terrific traction and grip on all surfaces. The new sole among with the comfort we ’ ve come to love with this shoe make it the best choice for someone who is on their feet all day.

I bought these shoes for my son who just got a job as a dishwasher at a resteraunt. He loves them!!! He said to me that he does n't slip no matter how wet or greasy the floor is. Thanks!
