[ These pants were surprisingly great quality. The material in a nice, thick woven material that can look like a professional pant, but has the versatility and style to be dressed up or dressed down. The waistband offers great security as it has a drawstring, button closure and and elastic waistband. I was able to comfortably wear and be active in a size small without feeling like the pants were too tight. You can bend and move freely in this pant. The fabric is also a breathable fabric and isn ’ t suffocating like some sport, versatile style pants. It is for sure the perfect balance between professionalism and activewear and can easily be pared with anything given that the pant is black. The pants are also easy to care for and don ’ t require much maintenance outside of basic care. It is also a great unisex pant choice. Like any clothing, the fit depends on your build, but I love the tapered style — these make my calves look like an NFL running back 's. I 'm about 6' 0 '', 170 lbs, very lean — similar to VRST ambassador Devonta `` Smitty '' Smith. Please, I 'm practically begging you: offer more colors! A lighter grey, balsam green, deeper khaki, or a good shade of red — I 'd buy every one. Also, consider adding belt loops. Keep the stretchy liner at the waist, maybe tweak or remove the strings that get destroyed in the dryer, but belt loops would make it easy to tuck in a polo without looking ridiculous on the course. Love the fit, love the material, and I 'd throw even more money your way with these small updates. Thanks for considering it — I think the brand is highly competitive in this crowded space and is well- positioned to take another step forward.

These are the perfect pants. I 've worn mine daily for more than a year and they are still in good shape. Just bought another pair. They are deceptively light in weight, but durable. I have not had any problems with the buttons or zipper. The knife pocket works perfectly with my SAK on a tether. The back pocket flaps are good for keeping wallet secure. Please, please do n't `` improve '' the design!!!

Please never stop making these pants. I own 4 pair and they 're the only pants I wear and I will wear them forever so long as you keep making them. My only point of feedback is to use better quality buttons. I have broken 3 buttons( in various places; front button, inside button at the front, back pocket button). I just sewed a new button on my pants today. Still, these pants get 5 stars. The fit is just perfect. And they 're soooooo comfortable. These can be dressed up or down. I wear them with Red Wing boots and a flannel and sometimes with a sportcoat and Alden 's. These pants just rock.

Great pants, do what they claim too nothing more nothing less. I wear them for hunting, and have been for the last two years in all types of weather and climate. They still look the same as the day i got them. Knife pocket works well didnt think id use it but i do almost every hunt. The fabric is by no means made for heavy brush but holds up very well even with thorns while going through thick bush/brush. If your looking for a great well made sturdy pant that you can hunt in and not worry about them getting torn then look no further. Great trousers for everyday use! I have two pair, grey and olive. I have had them for close to a year now, and they still look new. I wash them and then hang dry them. Finish off with a mild temperature iron to remove the folds and they have that ‘ brand new ’ appearance. I ’ m 6 ’ 3 inches and 195 lbs. first pair ordered were 37 inches and I had them taken in one inch. Second pair were size 36 and they are perfect! Wish they also came in blue. Hands( or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. The position of the thigh pockets is genius, and gives you easy access to items when sitting. The reinforced areas are perfect, especially the inner calf areas. [ These are my favorite jeans to climb in, and for that matter my favorite `` normal '' pants to climb in if I do n't need a side pocket for a phone. They are also just killer pants to wear /bike around town. The fabric is really durable but has enough stretch to accommodate movement( climbing, bouldering in the gym, riding a bike, stretching, etc). The fit is a little bit tight; most people will probably find them to be a nice athletic fit( and fine with the stretch) but if you have thighs like pistons they might be too tight. This is my second pair, the first pair are still doing great except the pocket liners wore out. Hopefully that durability issue has been solved. While minor, it has been annoying.

Came on here to see what other colours there is as I ’ m wanting another pair of these Abisko Trail Stretch Trousers……. and ended up writing this review..!! I do already have some other items of Fjallraven gear. These are now my ‘ go to trousers ’ when the weather is warmer here in England. I have had these about 6 week and initially they felt too hard wearing to be cool in warm weather, in a sense that they could be too warm……. they ARE hard wearing, but great in warmer weather and so I needn ’ t have worried( they were ideal in the warmer weather of Madeira)..!! The stretch in them is brilliant, either when hiking or for general use. I am a men ’s UK size 30 ”- 32 ” and went for the 30 ”. A touch ‘ snug ’ but how I ’ d personally prefer them.
