My son needed to move to steel shafts and also to STIFF flex, he had been growing and finally pretty much maxed out and we had him tested with his swing speed and ball flight... WOW, the Stiff flex in these steel shafts gave him 10- 15 more yards each club...

I needed to reshaft my Ben Hogan irons and wedges because as I 've progressed into my 60s I have lost clubhead speed. I needed a lightweight shaft that is available in regular flex and with a. 355 '' tip. After my local pro put some trials in two of my mid- irons to figure out the best match, I ordered the rest from Dick's online and had the local Dick's clubfitter in Johnson City do the work. It has turned out well and I 'm glad I did n't have to get a brand new set.

Substantially more control and feel throughout the entirety of the swing. Easier to dictate shot shape and transfer energy into potentially monster drives. My first time using an aftermarket shaft in my driver and now I ’ m a believer. Packaged well and arrived sooner than anticipated. Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 6s feels like an intermediary between a stiff and X stiff shaft which is what my current golf game called for. Absolute quality.

I really like this hybrid I got the stiff shaft in 75 gram project x. To me it feels like a regular shaft does n't feel stiff at all.. Screams off the face great feel and goes straight.

Bought these a month and a half ago. Love these irons, feel the best and perform great. expensive but if you love something it does n't matter, it's only money and i prefer being able to hit irons like i know i can, and these do just that. Apex irons hit long but these are more accurate, maybe the steel fiber shafts are why, not sure, do n't care. I am so glad i tried the Epic Forged.

I was just fitted Friday, the day of release and, these irons were by far the best feeling, best balanced clubs hit. Ordered PW- 6 with graphite regular shafts. Very excited to put them into play

Very few new clubs produced have the ability to transform your golf game. These irons are those such clubs. I played the original Epic irons briefly. I found them to feel harsh and provide no added benefit to my game from lesser priced Callaway irons. I switched to the Rogue Pro's. A few moths back I started gaming the Apex19 irons. I thought I loved those until I hit the Epic forged irons today. I pre- ordered them sight unseen based on the early reviews I had read. Having played one round with them these are my observations: the irons feel smooth at impact, not buttery, soft smooth as with some forged irons, but a pleasingly solid feel. It seems much easier to `` flush '' these irons and I attribute this to what feels to be a larger sweet spot. I 'm 63 years old and play to about a 10 handicap. My Apex19 9 iron distance is 130 yards. I was hitting my new Epic forged 9 iron 145 yards and it felt like effortless added power. Yes, the lofts are stronger than standard irons, but I found the gapping to be perfect for me. The 5 iron is easy to hit, so much so that I 'm contemplating purchasing a 4 iron and replacing a hybrid. I hit these slightly higher than the Apex19's at least to my eye and though I have n't tested them on my GC2 yet, I had zero difficulty getting the ball to stop on the greens. There is no doubt these irons are premium priced but how much would it be worth to hit one or two less clubs into every green?

Hit both Epic Forged and Epic Star. Found my lost yardage. LONG, straight and feel great. Best purchase ever. Golf is too important not to have the equipment that works for you.
A mid launch shaft is designed to promote a balanced trajectory for the golf ball, providing a moderate launch angle and spin rate. This type of shaft can help golfers achieve a consistent ball flight, making it suitable for various swing styles and skill levels. By optimizing launch conditions, a mid launch shaft can enhance distance and accuracy on the course.
When selecting a mid launch shaft, consider your swing speed, playing style, and the type of clubs you use. The flex of the shaft, along with its weight and material, can significantly influence performance. Additionally, understanding your desired ball flight and spin characteristics will help you find the right shaft to match your game.
Mid launch shafts can be beneficial for a wide range of golfers, from beginners to advanced players. They offer a versatile performance that can accommodate different swing speeds and styles, making them a popular choice. However, individual preferences and specific swing characteristics should be evaluated to ensure the best fit.
The material of a mid launch shaft, whether graphite or steel, plays a crucial role in its performance characteristics. Graphite shafts are typically lighter and can provide more distance, while steel shafts often offer enhanced control and feedback. Choosing the right material can influence your overall feel and performance on the course.
Yes, a mid launch shaft can enhance both distance and accuracy by optimizing the launch angle and spin rate of your shots. By providing a balanced trajectory, these shafts help golfers achieve a more consistent ball flight, which can lead to improved performance. However, it's essential to pair the shaft with the right club and ensure it complements your swing.
Mid launch shafts differ from low and high launch shafts in terms of the trajectory they promote. Low launch shafts tend to produce a flatter ball flight with less spin, while high launch shafts create a higher trajectory with more spin. Mid launch shafts strike a balance, making them versatile for various playing conditions and golfer preferences.
