If you turn off all the lights and close the shades, it definitely glows, but would be cooler if it were super bright... like even if you could put a few small batteries in it to make it light up, that would be cool. Unlike others, who had difficulty getting the net frames back into their flattened shape, I had no trouble at all restoring them to the shape that fits into their carrying case.( FYI, I 'm 5' 6 '' with skinny, not- very- strong arms.) Use the directions that say to hold the middle of the frong strap in your left hand, and hold the corner of the net in your right. Then pull the strap toward your right hand. The frame `` magically '' twists into its original flats hap. My nets are the 4- by 6- feet model. I 'm so pleased with them, although they have n't been tested in real play-- yet! I ordered these so that I could play small pickup soccer games with other adult friends who are trying to avoid the large games in our pickup league during Covid times. I feel better playing with a handful of folks instead of our usual crowded field of 12 on 12 on a half soccer field.
