[ Well put together and easy to use. Stashes great on the bottom of my top tube of my fat bike. Way better than a small mini pump especially when it comes to wider tires! Hope I never need while out on a ride but if I do I will be able to pump my tire up easily.

[ I have a 27. 5+ bike. This was a huge difference from my old pump that I kept on my bike frame. The extra volume per pump is well worth it. I really do n't need to use my floor pump now. It also mounts perfectly to my downtube. I do wish the hose was a touch longer, but I know they are trying to keep it compact so you can mount it on your bike.

This is a great bike pump. Finally a pump that has some weight to it so you 're not trying to hold it up while pushing down. And yes I know most have foot pegs as this one, but with the solid construction it's completely different. It's also highly recommended in cycling articles.

Best air pump I 've purchased; easy to read pressure gauge, high capacity pump so you will be able to fill air in both road and mountain bikes, and durably built so it will last for years. There are many cheaper pumps available in the market, but make the initial investment once for a great pump that will last years to come.

It's a good pump lets you know your tire pressure so you can put as much air as you 'd like to ride efficiently. If you own a bike you should also own a portable pump. If you happen to get a flat you can at the least pump some air in the tire every few blocks to get your bike home. I bought a pump for 9. 99 and returned it because it broke and upgraded to this one. It's pretty dependable. Well worth the money!

Purchased this for use with my road bike with presta valves. It has a fairly low profile on the frame. I let the air out of a tire to test the pump and I was able to get it up to 90 psi without much effort and could have gone further if I chose to. It takes awhile to pump up as is expected with a small pump like this, but it does move the air without too much effort. I 'm happy with this little guy.

Love the pump, def. suggest to anyone thinking about buying! Do it, do it!

It works good enough for the price. Once you reach 50psi it's really hard to Pump. I do n't doubt that this pump can inflate your tire to 100 psi. But your going to get a real work out. I would recommend this Topeak Mini Dual bike pump.

I bought self- sealing tubes for my bike not knowing if they would work. I was happily surprised to learn that tubes work great but lose a bit of air when thorns are pulled out. This pump works great in filling the tires back up to appropriate tire pressure and saving you from a long walk home. Very compact. Nice volume of air for such a small unit. Now I understand the science of how these wonderful products allow you to enjoy the joys of cycling with a minimum of headaches and inconveniences. Extremely happy with my purchase!!!

Purchased along with a new bicycle. Despite the salesperson's recommendation, I purchased this pump. I have no other comparison, but it works better than I thought it would. Once you start getting close to recommended pressure, it gets harder, but you can still pump air into the tire.

[ Does what it ’s supposed to and hasn ’ t broken yet! The head is a little awkward to lock on, but you get used to it. You just need to unscrew the cap to swap valve types.
When selecting a mountain bike pump, consider features such as the pump's size, weight, and pressure capacity. A dual-action pump can inflate tires more quickly by pushing air on both the up and down strokes. Additionally, look for pumps with built-in pressure gauges for accurate inflation and compatibility with both Presta and Schrader valves for versatility.
For on-the-go use, a mini or portable mountain bike pump is ideal due to its lightweight and compact design. These pumps can easily fit in a backpack or be attached to your bike frame, allowing for quick access during rides. Look for models that offer efficient inflation and durability to withstand outdoor conditions.
The right pressure for mountain bike tires typically depends on the tire size, rider weight, and terrain type. Most tires have a recommended pressure range printed on the sidewall, which is a good starting point. Adjusting the pressure slightly can help optimize performance based on your riding style and the conditions you encounter.
Yes, many mountain bike pumps are versatile enough to be used with other types of bikes, such as road bikes and hybrid bikes, especially if they are compatible with both Presta and Schrader valves. However, it's important to check the pressure capacity, as road bikes typically require higher pressures than mountain bikes. A pump that can accommodate a range of pressures will provide the most flexibility.
Mountain bike pumps are often made from lightweight and durable materials such as aluminum or high-strength plastic. Aluminum pumps tend to be more robust and can withstand rough handling, while plastic pumps are lighter but may be less durable. Consider your riding habits and storage options when choosing a pump material.
To maintain your mountain bike pump, regularly check for any signs of wear or damage, especially on the hose and valve connections. Keeping the pump clean and free from dirt can help prevent blockages and ensure smooth operation. Additionally, store the pump in a dry place to avoid corrosion and consider lubricating moving parts occasionally to keep them functioning well.
