Great for older feet. ... super comfy and the outsoles are superb ... Just enough drop to be comfortable while keeping things very light on the heel, and unlike many running shoes they seem more durable than toilet paper, although they still require bi- yearly pulls out of the local shoe

Long time fan of the New Balance Hierro line. This is the 2nd pair of the V9's that I own. One pair is my `` going- out '' pair and these are my work/daily shoes. I have purchased V6's all the way up to the V9's. Buy far, these have the best cushioning out of all the other models with a super grippy tread. You can wear these all day and not experience fatigue like other `` Runner '' shoes. Ca n't say enough good things about them.

I am a size 13 extra wide, which in and of itself limits the type of shoes that are available. This is the second time I have purchased the Heirro type shoe. The width was slightly tight to start, but broke in very easily. They are comfortable to wear all day on different types of surfaces and provide good moisture resistance.

I do modest mileage of around 15- 20 per week. I am in my fifties. These are the best running shoes I have ever worn. I have worn Brooks, Altra, and Hoka in the bast. I have tried zero drop and traditional heel stacks. This shoe beats them all: its wide, in four hundred miles i have fallen a few times from dog leash entanglement and tripping on tree roots or a hard to see step. But not ONCE have I had an ankle twist. In the Hoka years a while back I had several, and gave up on cushy shoes. Now I know I need them, which makes midlife, arthritic running far more enjoyable. Also, these work perfectly for a midfoot strike running form. Just enough drop to be comfortable while keeping things very light on the heel, and unlike many running shoes they seem more durable than toilet paper, although they still require bi- yearly pulls out of the local shoe dispensor.

New Balance trail shoes are designed with specialized features that enhance performance on rugged terrain. These include aggressive outsoles for superior traction, lightweight cushioning for comfort over long distances, and protective overlays to shield your feet from debris. The combination of these elements helps provide stability and support during trail runs.
New Balance trail running shoes typically utilize a mix of breathable mesh and synthetic materials to ensure comfort and durability. The cushioning often incorporates advanced foam technologies that provide shock absorption and responsiveness. Additionally, some models may feature water-resistant materials to keep your feet dry in wet conditions.
New Balance trail shoes are specifically engineered for off-road conditions, offering features that regular running shoes may lack. They usually have deeper lugs on the outsole for better grip on uneven surfaces, enhanced durability to withstand rough terrain, and added protection to prevent injuries from rocks and roots. This makes them more suitable for trail running compared to standard road shoes.
When selecting New Balance trail running shoes, consider factors such as the type of terrain you'll be running on, your foot shape, and your preferred level of cushioning. It's also important to think about the fit, as a snug yet comfortable fit can prevent blisters and enhance performance. Additionally, consider any specific features like water resistance or extra support based on your running needs.
New Balance trail running shoes can be suitable for various weather conditions, but it depends on the specific model. Some shoes are designed with water-resistant materials for wet conditions, while others may offer breathability for warmer weather. It's essential to check the product specifications to ensure they meet your needs for different trail environments.
New Balance trail running shoes are primarily designed for trail running, but they can also be suitable for hiking and other outdoor activities. Their durable construction and traction make them ideal for navigating uneven terrains, while the cushioning provides comfort during extended wear. Whether you're tackling a rugged trail or enjoying a casual hike, these shoes can enhance your experience.
