They look great, feel more stable than the 8 ’s, and have a little more toe room. One additional thing to note is that the traction pattern is way better on the 9, as my 8 ’s toe traction ripped after repeatedly doing planks. It seems like that will not happen with the 9.

I ’ ve bought Reebok Nano 6 ’s for years and they ’ ve been great for CrossFit workouts. I recently switched to more HIIT workouts and really felt the need for more cushioning- especially going from box jumps to sprints and more. I bought the metcons in both 8. 5( my normal size) and 9 ’s as people said to size up. They were comfortable and had more cushioning yet the same stability as my metcons but the sizing was a bit weird. My normal size felt a little bit tighter/smaller but the 9 ’s felt huge. I stuck with my normal size and did my first HIIT workout and they were SOLID. Super comfortable, stable for heavy lifts, and most importantly didnt feel tight. Definitely my new favorite shoe. Highly recommended.

I didn??? t expect to like these as much as I do. These were perfect for the purpose I bought them for which was for Apple Fitness+ lower body strength workouts. I celebrated my 250th strength workout in these and surprisingly also received the burned the most calories award so I have to believe they definitely contributed to that. I sized down to an 8 from my usual Nike size 8. 5 and glad I did??? the EasyOn coupled with the Hyperlift stability plate makes it so easy to slip on/off. The grip is also phenomenal on these, I??? ll have no issue upping the weight going forward! No cons though note that these are absolutely not running shoes, I wouldn??? t even try as they??? re much too firm/blocky for that.

As someone who lifts weights to workout, I felt stable while wearing the shoe, which allowed me to put more focus on other areas to improve my form. The design has a very modern feel and isn ’ t compromised by the functionality of the shoe. The fabric used for the top of the shoe is sturdy, but very soft and comfortable. For reference: I am 5 ’ 7 and wear a size 10 in women. So far so good. First off Thank you Nike! I ordered a size 11 because of my last pair of Nike I bought were a 10 and the fit was to small. Per a review I read and doing some research I ’ m glad I went a size up. I guess I could have gone with 10. 5 but why risk it. I had these on for an hour just walking inside the house and so far so good. I have plenty of wiggle room.

The Nike MC Trainer 3 is my favorite of the three styles of Nike trainers that I own. It is very comfortable with lots of cushioning, including padded tongue and all around the top. I like the sturdy pull- on tab on the back plus toe cap on the front. The shoelaces are round, just the right length, and stay tied. The lateral support is supurb making my BOSU ball workout easier. If I were designing them, I would probably add a bit more arch support, although they are adequate. Other reviewers have mentioned that they are rather plain, and that is true. Mine are gray, and the green on the bottom is a soft green so the silver metallic swoosh on the sides is a welcome touch. I 'd definitely buy this shoe again, especially if it comes out in all- black with black sole.

Great show for weightlifting and stability, but runs small. I am a size 7. 5 and generally wear an 8 in Nike sneakers( Pegasus, etc.) so that I have room in the toes in case my feet swell a little from heat or hiking, etc. I ordered the Metcon in my normal Nike size of 8 and my big toe is basically at the tip of the shoe, so I need to exchange them for an 8. 5. If I was using them for hiking or anything I thought would make my feet swell, I might even size up to a 9 which would be absolutely wild! Anyway, just thought I would leave a review because these are way small.

These are great- highly cushioned but stable. I would use these on moderate trails but nothing too technical. My only complaint would be the padded tongue- it's hot! The shoe fits wider than typical Nikes.

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

Nike has a special shoe here. I wonder why it took so long. Think of a Metcon with some cushion, not too much, just enough to make a mile run doable. They are true to your Metcon size. I purchased these online for an upcoming trip to Japan and was shocked to discover that they are Mount Fuji themed! That might have been enough to sway me, but they were also extremely comfortable, very stable for my ankle issues, and they sat a little lower on the ankle than some other styles, which helped because I have a painful spot that needs surgery. The colors are fun as well, but most of all I expect them to be very comfortable for walking around all over Japan! The style I ordered is the white one that has speckles along the outsole. These are incredible! I wish I had bought them earlier in my pregnancy. Some Nike shoes I find to be a bit narrow, and these definitely weren ’ t. I have another pair of lace less Nikes but I still need to use my hands to get them on/off. As promised, these are step in and step out. I ’ m 9 months pregnant and it makes it so easy to go in and out of the house. The soft purple is a pretty color too. I use them to walk the dog multiple times a day, and they ’ re so convenient.
