Fit wise, my daughter thought they ran a little more narrow than other Nike shoes. This is something to definitely consider for children with a little wider feet. She was able to overcome the narrowness feeling by simply loosening up the laces all the way down to the toe box. A half size up from her normal size would have likely solved the problem. The Nike Cortez shoe is a style that every one of all ages should own. Their simple design allows them to stand the test of time and outlast the trends. Great shoe- highly recommended.

A few triangles of synthetic material seem to be somewhat breathable. The forefoot is flexible and roomy, for the balls of the feet and the toes. Good ground feel and ‘ touch ’. My kids last Christmas had given me a pair of air Force 1 sneakers. They just seemed to hard& what I thought like crunchy feeling! I 'm 46& have a wide foot& need comfort!! I had tried on a low high top blazer first& saw these on a clearance shelf without a box and tried them on& that was it I was sold! The leather is so soft the platform adds so much more padding then the low ones& I just throw them in the washer with laces& they come out brand new after! The only thing is they take alot longer to dry so I use a boot dryer and I 'll leave them over nite on that& by am they 're dry! I 'm around a size 8. 5 /9 because of my wide foot. These are a size 8& there was only one pair available at the store so I was thankful they fit but was nervous they may need to stretch out or cause discomfort while breaking them in but it was never necessary! I tie the laces and put the tongue over the laces so I can just slip my foot into my sneakers. A year later the back ankle part is n't as strong as it was new because I slip my foot in but I just wiggle it in& my foot is secured& does n't slip out! I agree with many many others whom are n't a fan of the exposed foam tongue on these sneakers but honestly I do n't even notice it anymore! They 're are a beautiful made sneaker with beautiful soft flexible leather in my opinion far superior to the air Force 1's including the specialty air Forces they make I 've bought my 21 year old daughter 2 pairs in the past 2 years both different specialty ones& they have split wide open on sides mean Walmart sneakers would last longer& my 17 year old son has had his high top low blazers for a year& half& he throws them in the wash& they 're new again!! I 'm shocked at the lack of quality of the air Force 1 sneakers especially at their price& being considered a collectible sneaker the last pair I got my daughter started splitting open in different areas within 5 months of receiving them!! I love them! I needed to replace my war- torn gym shoes and these are perfect. I was nervous reading the reviews that they 'd be too small or uncomfortable. I think the difference in the way some of the styles are made could be the problem. The material and color combination I got was n't an issue at all. I got my normal sneaker size and I 'm so glad I did. If you wear thick socks go up half a size, thin socks, buy your regular size.

Nike Air Max SCs are one of my favorite shoes, and in this color, they are amazing. I have bought three pairs of these shoes; I wear them to coach baseball, play pickleball, and travel in. They are comfortable and I can stand on my feet for hours. I find them to be very well fit wise and not too narrow as I have a relatively wide foot.

Very cute and stylish, can be dressed up or casual. I find them very true to size( other reviews mention small but I don ’ t feel that way), a little wider than other similar styles but they look great!
