Great for the summer months ... Perfect for Coastal and Piedmont hanging. HYOH ... I would n't say this is something you could stargaze though because the netting material is super tightly woven, but that's what lets only air in and keeps all the bugs out, so I ca n't

Purchased this product to use the many times in the field/camping/hiking. It is perfect and well worth the money. The netting is a piece of cake to set up and take down. Can easily slide it to one side in case you want to just lounge in the hammock as a chair. Keeps all the bugs out, as well as provides a little extra warmth.

The Gaurdian length is a perfect match for my ENO Double Nest. Some other brand hammocks may be longer and require a little tweaking where the hammock suspension lines exit. Perfect for Coastal and Piedmont hanging. HYOH

It pops right out. Open the zipper and we put our chairs in. We didnt need the extra materials for the setup but we might later. The capacity was 5. 2 adults, 3 teens. The take down process, well there were no instructions but was in a rush so we just folded it and carried it to our trunk. It was very useful while watching fireworks and no mosquitos flying around constantly!

I use this tent often. The only challenge is learning how to fold the tent back. Once you get the hang of it then it ’s fairly easy.

I bought this a month ago and we love it, helps keep our 3 year old from running around at the ball fields and helps block the sun, and is great with blocking the wind, we were iffy at first with the walls being mesh but have n't used it in the rain yet. Spacious for 4 people. Only issue we had is it is hard to fold up and put away by yourself.

On some levels at this price point, you can fall into `` a tent is a tent '' thinking. But Nemo put so much thought into the little details of this tent. I have used a Big Agnes Copper Spur for years and loved it, but my first night in my friend's Hornet sold me. The venting was much better than my Copper Spur, which made sleeping through a hot Kentucky summer night much more comfortable. The tie ups for the doors and vestibule are placed perfectly so they do n't droop weird or keep unrolling whenever the wind would blow. And lastly, the Nightlight Pockets freaking blew my mind. Seriously, if you 're looking for a tent that is well designed as well as well made - - I ca n't recommend the Hornet enough.

After years of using a 2 - person tent with my wife, we decided to upgrade to a 3 - person. While there's a little weight penalty, we 're really happy with the extra room. The materials and construction are really great. The set - up instructions could be a wee bit clearer but so long as you set up the tent once before going, you 'll be fine. I 'd definitely recommend this to a friend.

I bought this tent to do backpacking. It ’s been on a few trips with me and I am so glad I invested the money into it! It was worth every penny and I love how simple it is to set up.

I have the three person version of this tent and have used it for about a dozen nights or so. For the wife and I, this tent has ample space for two 25 '' pads side by side and plenty of extra room for bags( if you do n't want to leave it in the vestibule). We split the tent( body and poles, rainfly and stakes) between our two packs and it is very light - - lighter than a comparable quality 1 - person tent, The set up is easy and the tent is very high quality. My only gripe with the tent is the size of the footprint when fully staked out. It goes quite wide which may limit the areas where you could set up the tent, As such, we 've reserved this tent for campgrounds and trails we are more familiar with. I would highly recommend this tent as one of the lightest and best build tents of this size that I 've tested.

I bought my first NEMO hornet in 2020 and it lasted me more that lasted 1, 000 miles worth of thru - hikes plus numerous weekend adventures. It was still in pristine condition when it was lost by an airline. So I went back for the same tent. This is a light, warm, sturdy tent that is the perfect size for me and my husky. I even took it snow camping the other weekend and it kept me warm and dry.
$179.99
Other review has to be user error or a review bomb because my tent has served me well I ’ ve even set it up on uneven terrain and had no problems with a steady camp in some light wind the vestibules on both sides also added for more room while keeping cold wind out poles and stakes are of average...
No-see-um mosquito netting is a fine mesh material designed to keep out tiny insects, including no-see-ums, while allowing air to flow freely. This type of netting is typically made from lightweight, durable fabrics that provide excellent visibility and ventilation. It is often used in outdoor settings, such as camping or hiking, to create a barrier against pests without sacrificing comfort.
Using no-see-um mosquito netting offers several benefits, including protection from biting insects, improved comfort during outdoor activities, and a reduction in the risk of insect-borne diseases. The fine mesh design ensures that even the smallest pests are kept out while still allowing for airflow, making it ideal for warm weather conditions. Additionally, it can enhance your overall outdoor experience by allowing you to enjoy nature without the annoyance of bugs.
Yes, no-see-um mosquito netting is versatile and can be used in a variety of outdoor settings, including camping, hiking, and picnicking. It can be set up over hammocks, tents, or sleeping areas to provide a protective barrier against insects. Its lightweight and portable nature makes it easy to carry and set up wherever you go, ensuring you can enjoy the outdoors without the hassle of pests.
When selecting no-see-um mosquito netting, consider factors such as size, weight, and intended use. Look for netting that is lightweight and easy to pack if you plan to carry it on hikes. Additionally, ensure that the mesh size is fine enough to block no-see-ums while still allowing for good airflow. It's also important to consider how you will set it up, whether it will be used with a hammock, tent, or as a standalone shelter.
Most no-see-um mosquito netting is designed to be durable and weather-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor use. The materials used are typically resistant to tearing and can withstand exposure to the elements, including rain and wind. However, it's important to check the specifications of the netting you choose to ensure it meets your durability needs, especially if you plan to use it frequently in various weather conditions.
