A great all - around knife that should last a life - time and then some. ... Excellent, light and sturdy ... Much lighter even know it is a bigger knife, smoother action, and sits in the pocket way

5 HONDO357
Awesome Warren Osborne design. Awesome Axis action. The 940 is one of the top 5 knife designs ever. Awesome Benchmade Lifesharp warranty. I ordered this knife and received the satin blade like James64 but I prefer the satin finish so for me a win. Great EDC. You wo n't find this knife cheaper anywhere when you use a$ 20 off coupon. Buy this knife, you wo n't be disappointed.

5 BenelliSN12
I want another one but with a black blade. The handles are my favorite color and part of the knife lol

5 Cbrown152
I bought this about a month ago and it has been a part of my edc ever since. It holds a razor edge for about a week at a time but I am also hard on my knife.

5 Tyedye treeguy
[ Got this knife 8 or so years ago and have beat on it. It has held up to a lot of abuse. Super sharp when i got it. The edge held for a while but if you are actually using this knife, you will eventually have to sharpen it. It takes patience to get a nice edge back. Crazy hard steel. Great knife overall. It has done so much for me. Worth every penny.

5 Almherdfan
The Benchmade 940 has become a top edc pick. I love the blade length, light weight, and carrying profile. The steel is excellent, the blade is versatile and the axis lock makes deployment a breeze. A great all - around knife that should last a life - time and then some.

Classic knife, replacing one I lost years ago!!!!!

5 Woodsman270
The first one I bought in 1976 it lasted 33 years before the lock broke. I sent it back to Buck and they completely refurbished it to new condition at no cost to me. The second one I received as a Christmas gift. It has a drop point Burlap handle and cpm20cv steel. It is too pretty for every day use so I bought the latest one from Dick's. It shaves hair like the other two. Fit and finish are excellent!!!

5 Beaglen3
Bought this as a confirmation gift for our son. I have had this knife for 20 years and it has served me well

5 DeltaJuliet
I bought my Folding Hunter in 1977, shortly after joining the Navy. It lasted me throughout a 20 year career. I still have it, wear it, and use it on a daily basis. Truly, the very best knife I have ever owned!

5 tmilz
I presented this knife to my grandson as a reward for earning his Boy Scout First Class Badge. He was very happy to receive a Buck Knife.

I bought this for some of my coworkers and they were a big hit. They are small enough to fit nicely in your pocket and they also come with a driver for standard bits.

5 JAGLAW
I needed a small pocket knife to carry with me on trail runs. I didn ’ t want anything too big or cumbersome and this product fit the bill perfectly. The knife is rugged and fairly sharp. It also comes with two integrated driver bits( Phillips and flat head) that magnetically fit into the end of the knife, which doubles as a screwdriver. The knife also comes with an integrated clip which secures nicely to clothing or equipment. I recommend this pocket knife for light duty use.

The primary reason I always carried a Swiss army knife Tinker modal was for the blade and Phillips screwdriver. This knife is about the small length and weight but the screwdriver is WAY more functional and the blade locks( not sure why Swiss Army never figured this out).

Great value for a great knife! If it breaks, send it back, and get a new one with thier nice warranty.

5 Bruce V.
I was looking for an American Made knife for daily carry that could be opened with one hand and that was slim and light. The Buck Bantam was a perfect fit for all this criteria. The price was good which made the entire purchase a good value. I can not speak to its longevity as I have not owned it that long. Ask me if I still have it a couple of years from now! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a sharp, easily carried knife for daily use.

5 mazroth
Its a buck knife, enough said. But its lightweight, and a darker clip so not everyone sees that you have it unlike my sog. For the price, great pocket knife.

5 Chris
Best pocketknife I 've ever had. It's the perfect size: not too big not too small. Dual handed opening is a big plus. And it's durable too. I 've dropped this knife more than a couple of times and it's still like brand new.

I decided to order this knife to use some of my rewards points and I was not disappointed. I own plenty of Benchmade, Protech, Microtech, Spyderco, and many other brands of knives and this ZT is up there with some of my favorites. Very light carbon fiber side panel, great detent that allows the flipper to positivly `` fire '', and the lockup is solid.

5 zbrewha863
[ I have another ZT( 0562) and this is just as smooth as you would expect from one of the top American knife makers. It is more of a “ gentleman ’s carry ” knife — it is on the medium to small side and looks very sheen with the CF handle.

Sharp and built to last. Will be in my pocket for years to come.

5
I recently purchased this knife on this website after wanting to try one out for quite awhile. I am not disappointed. The knife is weighty in the hand but ergonomically designed so as not to feel `` heavy ''. It feels present while clipped to your pocket, which I appreciate. After carrying this it has quickly become my favorite EDC with it's ease of deployment, wicked sharp factory edge and very solid build quality. I am not an expert or a snob by any means but after having several below$ 50 folder knives come and go, this knife feels like a substantial tool; not just a tape cutter or mail opener. If you are interested in the knife and have the means, go for it! And to our friends at Dick's, the model number does not contain a `` Z ''. This is an American made ZT 0350. I confirmed this with the manufacturer. Thank you for offering it on the website!

Awesome blade, well performing knife for all condotions. But mone is not stainless mine has rust spots forming in random spots on the blade, several on the hip clip, all over the colapsable sheeth, and some on the exteriou blade hindge. Still a nice knife though...

5
Have had this knife for about 6 years, it has seen a lot of use and a lot of abuse. Have never had a single problem with it; blade still sharpens easily, action is smooth, and I have never once had to tighten a screw.

5
I bought both the Ripstop I& II and I must say I am very happy with both. Light weight, sharp, easy to use. Overall great knife for any situation.

5
I have carried this knife with me almost every day and use it 3 - 5 times/day for about three years. It is easy to open and securely locks in the open position. It fits my big hands well. I have this knife in three sizes. It works well as my money clip and it really holds its edge.

5

5
Have had this knife for about 2 months now. It has become one of the best knifes I own for everyday use. I do n't understand why some reviews are having issues with the clip. Yeah, it's tight out of the box, but really, come guys you should know how to fix it. All you got ta do is pull it out a little bit with your fingers and you are good to go. Also, not sure what other reviews are talking about with the blade being hard to pull out. My knife, I just flick it with my wrist and `` bam '' it's out and ready for anything I put in front of it!!!

5 Jonny
Awesome tool. All tools are easy to access. Blade holds an edge for a long time.

5 DRT703
I have owned the Leatherman ARC Talos for several weeks and have come to appreciate the exceptional build quality. The FREE technology comes in very handy for operating one- handed. I love the locking mechanism for the tools and the accessibility from outside of the multi tool. Does not come with a case; however, it does come with a nice pocket clip that securely holds the tool in place. Be careful when flicking the tool open with one hand: it can bite if your index finger is too close to the top of the handles.

5 Dakota
[ I ’ ve owned several models of Leatherman and Gerber…Wave+, Charge Plus TTI, Charge Plus, Rebar, Super Tool 300, Skeletool CX, Surge, Gerber Truss and Centerdrive you name it. None of them were able to justify not carrying a pocket knife until the ARC. The magnacut blade is a game changer in the multitool space and has replaced my pocket knife with ease. The one handed opening pliers are awesome when you have your hands full as well as the ability to access the tools from the outside, again, with one hand. Different from the Free P4, Leatherman has listened and put a proper bit changer, quality scissors and a proper file into the tool. Build quality is typical top notch from Leatherman and this is a tool that will be handed down to my kids someday. I highly recommend if you ’ re on the fence!

Frequently Asked Questions For Onehanded Knives

One-handed knives are designed for quick and easy deployment, making them ideal for situations where you need to use your other hand for support or to hold something. They often feature a mechanism that allows for smooth opening with just one hand, enhancing convenience and efficiency. This makes them popular among outdoor enthusiasts, campers, and anyone who requires a reliable tool on the go.

One-handed knives are typically made from a variety of materials to ensure durability and performance. Common blade materials include stainless steel for its corrosion resistance and edge retention, while handles may be crafted from materials like aluminum, G10, or plastic for a lightweight yet sturdy grip. The choice of materials can affect the knife's weight, balance, and overall feel in hand.

When selecting a one-handed knife, consider the intended use, such as everyday carry, camping, or specific tasks like cutting rope or preparing food. Look for features like blade length, locking mechanisms, and handle ergonomics that suit your preferences. Additionally, consider the weight and size of the knife for portability, especially if you plan to carry it regularly.

Yes, one-handed knives are highly suitable for outdoor activities due to their ease of use and versatility. They can be used for a range of tasks, from preparing food and setting up camp to making repairs or cutting through materials. Their quick deployment feature allows users to access the blade efficiently, which can be crucial in outdoor settings.

When choosing a one-handed knife, look for safety features such as a reliable locking mechanism that secures the blade in place during use. These features enhance safety and ensure that the knife can be used confidently.
