I got the ICF60 recently and finally got a chance to use it. I set the cooler to 0F, put about 15 pounds of frozen venison in the cooler, put the cooler inside the car and headed out. Over the course of the 6 hour drive, I never heard a sound from it and I was about 2 feet from it the entire time. About an hour from my destination, I had to unplug the cooler from the cigarette lighter. When I get to my destination, the meat was still frozen and hard as a rock! I will be using the cooler on all my hunting trips in the future!

I 've had at least 3 other models of Igloo branded coolers in the past and have loved them all. We normally use a pair of trail mate journeys, so this is about the same volume as what we 're used to, but the exterior is much more compact( no wheels or extra exterior parts/compartments) and not needing the ice will help get a lot more packed in. Where we use the trailmate for going camping, this will be used for a multi- week trip with multiple nights in hotels along the way to where we 're going. We 're going to be staying about an hour from a grocery store, so having a vehicle refrigerator will help a lot with surviving more days between trips to the store. This will go in the back of our SUV each day and plug into the car for power, moving it to the hotel each night to plug in. I have a battery pack with 220Whr of capacity, but from my tests within my house it wo n't be enough to leave it running off of this in the car overnight. I like that this has a good rubber seal and it sucks tight when you try to open it, so no air leaks like a typical cooler. I 'd like to see it with a bit thicker of a wall so that it would run a bit more efficiently, though it really does n't take that much power. I 'm also glad this is n't a thermoelectric cooler, like the ones that were popular in the 1990s. The unit does n't make much noise, so it wo n't wake anyone up or keep anyone up in the hotel rooms, at least no more than my snoring. Sleeves are good length but would n't have minded another inch. Thumb holes would have been nice. I have to maneuver a little to get it over my chest( 46 inch) but it's not a problem, just noticeable. The material has a nice stretch to it. Might have a shirt on underneath or nothing under depending on temperature and wind. Love the hood fit with or without a hat. Zipped up the hood stays on well. Zippers work well. I 've washed it several times now and the material and color still look new. Washing on delicate and hang dry. I like it so much I might get another.

The lid has strong magnets that hold it closed even when the zipper isn ’ t open. The strap is large and nice and comfortable if you have a full cooler. I recieved the 36 can cooler and i was able to fit 24 cans plus ice. We have had a mild winter where i live so i decided to fill this cooler and test it by setting it outside for 5 days. I checked on it everyday. Day 2 still had ALL ice. Day 3 it started to melt. By day 5 all ice was melted but drinks were still ICE COLD. The magnetic lid creates an insulation like no other. I believe that is the feature that kept my drinks cold for so long. The zippers well, they are tough to open however it really seals out the warm air so i can live with it. The thing that makes the zipper so difficult is that it is outlined in silicone/rubber for a tight seal so it does serve a purpose. The front pouch is perfect size for plates& cutlery. I also love the thoughtfulness of adding a bottle opener. Overall, i think this is a great cooler and i cant wait to see how it works while outside, camping in the hot summers. I would recommend.

We live on a lake and near the beach a small like to go to the springs. Took this to the springs and the dry pocket keeps your phone and keys dry, our food and drinks stayed cold and the ice kept the entire day. It also floats, so when floating down the river, you can literally just strap this to the raft and it ’ ll float, so much easier than having to rent another raft and hope your cooler doesn ’ t fall off it. [ I previously wore out a pair of Outdoor Research sun gloves that left fingers exposed. I was pretty happy with them but I thought it would be better to have full coverage of my hands. Not a significant difference in how warm the gloves feel with the fingers covered- although that does mean I have to remove them to use my cell phone ‘s touchscreen. These gloves work well for blocking sun- I have taken them on multiple trips outdoors including a week on the PCT. The reinforced palm helps somewhat with preventing chafing from hiking poles. Not perfectly though and the fabric is not super durable so don ’ t abrade it! Also — gloves do not provide a super snug fit so I can ’ t seem to wear these and tie my shoelaces for instance.

[ I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product, the outside is a semi hard case it has one pocket in front and on the side there is a bottle opener attached, it comes with a long strap for carrying. The zipper is a little bit hard to open at first but once I put on the lubricant that came with it it ’s a lot easier to open. I like that the lid is magnetic incase you accidentally leave the lid unzipped at least the magnet will keep the cooler closed. I put ice in this cooler at 8am and a whole 24 hours later the ice was a little melted but there was still plenty of ice left! I will definitely be using this cooler all summer long it ’s great and the price point is even better!

[ This cooler has it all! I can ’ t find one flaw with the design. I did think I was getting a backpack cooler based on the photo, but this is a shoulder strap cooler which works great! Pros:- waterproof zipper: I put water in this thing, shook it all around, laid it on its side and upside down and no leaks!- magnetic top: when you are using the cooler at your destination, no need to sip it back up every time.
