[ I have yet to use the Hunting Buddy on a hunting trip, these days because of the Pandemic no one is really going any where. But I have used at my job site at houses/ building that are under construction and usually have no electricity. This heater has been my saving grace, as I am constantly moving from place to place within a site. The portability and size of this heater is more than ideal for me. It is pretty quite and produced enough heat for may to stay warm. I brought a second 1lb propane canister and was good for the day around 7 hrs. The tip over safety shut off is a great feature, and I am sure once I am able to get out there an go hunting the Oxygen Depletion Sensor shut off will give us piece of my that we are safe! I am extremely happy with my Hunting Buddy!!!

Bought this for camping on an unusually cold weekend. I did n't have it running the whole time as the tent was pretty tight and there is an open pilot light that will constantly run when operating. But running it for 20 minutes or so will heat our 6 person tent nicely. Then I turned it off, fell asleep and when I woke up after the tent cooled back down I would start it back up for 20 minutes. The kids did n't even realize any of it happened. They just knew the tent was more comfortable than the outdoors when they exited in the morning. I 've used it a couple of times in our detached two car garage as well. It would n't work to heat the space, but works nicely if you are working in one spot and just want to the the edge off.

This thing is perfect to warm up and keep myself warm during breaks from being in the tree stand. It is pretty light and easy to hook up. It warms up quickly. The heater seems sturdy and good quality so it will last many years. I also like that it can hook up to the cooker that you can buy separate. That will be a nice investment to be able to cook some dinner while out or even during camping. It is compact so it does not take up much storage space.
