Just what my cold fingers ordered! I have Raynaud ’s and have tried everything with no luck. These are great with a wool glove liner and I have happy fingers. Two warn thumbs up! [ We bought a pair for 17 month old and they kept his fingers nice and toasty. My husband and I did put a thin pair of gloves underneath because some people were saying that the gloves did not keep their hands warm. These gloves did go all the way up to his elbows, which is great because I put them over his coat sleeves and they didn ’ t move. We were outside playing for just under two hours. He sat in the snow a lot of the time playing and picking up the snow and his fingers were so warm and dry when we removed the gloves.

[ I finally broke down to buy proper winter mittens and chose these as I love my Hestra ski gloves. They are soft and warm, keeping my fingers relatively comfortable in 5 degree Wisconsin weather. They are a bit bulky, but I can still shove them in the pockets of my heavy winter jacket. They work well for sledding, walking around, etc. I would prefer a slightly longer, larger wrist so they can go up over the jacket to keep snow from getting in. But otherwise I am very pleased. They are certainly better than anything I have owned thus far( save for my Hestra ski gloves) for serious winter outdoor time.

I bought these mittens for a snowshoeing trip that ended up being very windy and very cold. Despite the less than ideal conditions, my hands stayed toasty warm the entire trip. These mittens are very lightweight, but kept the wind out very well. There were even a few times along the trail were I had to take them off for a few seconds because my hands we too hot! They also seem to be sufficiently waterproof as I had no issues with water getting in or soggy mittens. The leather palms are also decently grippy which was a pleasant surprise. My only minor complaints are less than ideal dexterity( though that is to be expected with mittens) and there is n't a clip included to keep the mittens together when not in use. Overall these are wonderfully warm mittens and well worth the price!
