How hard should it be to find a comfortable outdoor chair that does n't cost a fortune. Well, it is hard and although these chairs are not aluminum, they fit the bill. We found these chairs several places online after seeing them in a store and Dicks was the best price. The chairs have a high back for good support, are slightly tilted backward for comfort and are nice to sit in. Wish they were a tad lighter in weight but they are sturdy and should do well for what we need( use to sit outside of our RV when traveling). Very pleased with the purchase so far.

The GCI Outdoor Roadtrip Rocker is an excellent chair that sits on the fence between an `` A '' or a `` B ''. Just a couple extra credit assignments and it firmly passes with straight A's. This chair is very comfortable and does a surprisingly good job as a rocking chair. The back is tall enough to lean back and feel supported. It is wide enough be bundled up in blankets and still have room. There are two things I 'd like have changed slightly. If you are sitting up to a table, or even just forward on the chair it is a bit too relaxed. Lastly, be prepared for a fairly large item when folded. Getting all this comfort into a bag poses a big challenge. Well done GCI!

I have not had that experience with this chair. My wife and I keep them in the garage of our camper. Their folding design works great for some smaller spaces. [ I needed traveling chairs for my sons ’ swim meets that were light, compact and easy to fold, quick drying and a shorter profile for an 8 and 10 year old. These chairs seem to fit the bill. My boys were able to fold and carry them easily( parents aren ’ t allowed close to the pool), they don ’ t take up too much room so I can fit two easily into the car, the fabric doesn ’ t seem to absorb water so I can pack them up quickly and not have to worry about air drying before packing and storing and my boys thought they were very comfortable. Simple assembly
Love these! Great for a day at the park, beach or even camping. I 've used them on kayak paddles overnight and they are compact and lightweight enough. I have n't used them on overnight hikes as they are still a tab heavy and bulky, but perhaps good enough for a short overnight. Assembly is quite easy once you follow the instructions and use a bit of brain power. Slip on the top loops first and one of the bottom loops, Flip the chair on to its side with the attached part on the bottom and use the ground as leverage to flex the top pole and slip the 2nd bottom piece on.

Great little light chair! Yes, the chair fabric was initially stiff the first time assembling. We have happily owned and used: for sporting events, parks, basically even for quick additional seating for teen video gaming in our livingroom. HOWEVER- though the pockets for poles were stiff initially when we first got this chair and put it together- We left it put together and used it in our house for probably 30- or so times of sitting in over a few weeks. Ta- Da- the fabric, where the poles insert, stretched some and the chair is now `` normal easy '' to put together and take apart. The fabric has held up nicely after repeated use. The chair is comfy; some choose to use with the neck roll, while others remove( for gaming, our TV is up above the fireplace, so that's when the neck roll was removed). Very lightweight, handy little storage bag- we hook the handle of the storage bag through one of the poles that go into pockets which helps us keep track if it. Even for a teen- this and a hammock is what they are camping with.

My “ hack ” for fitting the bottom seat connector is to put the last tube into the fabric and then connect it to the hub. Simple assembly
Love these! Great for a day at the park, beach or even camping. I 've used them on kayak paddles overnight and they are compact and lightweight enough. I have n't used them on overnight hikes as they are still a tab heavy and bulky, but perhaps good enough for a short overnight. Assembly is quite easy once you follow the instructions and use a bit of brain power. Slip on the top loops first and one of the bottom loops, Flip the chair on to its side with the attached part on the bottom and use the ground as leverage to flex the top pole and slip the 2nd bottom piece on.

Great little light chair! Yes, the chair fabric was initially stiff the first time assembling. We have happily owned and used: for sporting events, parks, basically even for quick additional seating for teen video gaming in our livingroom. HOWEVER- though the pockets for poles were stiff initially when we first got this chair and put it together- We left it put together and used it in our house for probably 30- or so times of sitting in over a few weeks. Ta- Da- the fabric, where the poles insert, stretched some and the chair is now `` normal easy '' to put together and take apart. The fabric has held up nicely after repeated use. The chair is comfy; some choose to use with the neck roll, while others remove( for gaming, our TV is up above the fireplace, so that's when the neck roll was removed). Very lightweight, handy little storage bag- we hook the handle of the storage bag through one of the poles that go into pockets which helps us keep track if it. Even for a teen- this and a hammock is what they are camping with.

I just got two of these for outdoor concerts where we have to hike a bit to get to the site. Much better than schlepping the big lawn chairs, and super stable and comfortable! My “ hack ” for fitting the bottom seat connector is to put the last tube into the fabric and then connect it to the hub. Way better leverage and much easier than trying to get the fabric to stretch over the tube.
