I have large calves( I used to play football), so finding things like ankle weights that fit properly is usually a challenge. The straps on these are more than large enough to have plenty of velcro sticking and hold them in place. The padding makes them very comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time... but they do get a little sweaty sometimes. I highly recommend these ankle weights, especially for others like me who have larger legs and calves.
