I love this pole pad for my kids playing and shooting on our basketball hoop. This pole pad is super thick and very safe for kids. The pole pad has a base that protects the anchor kit. The base is detachable so you can do yard work around the base of the hoop. Definitely must have for your hoop. I totally recommend!

[ I 've used this pole to hike Baden Powell, San Gorgonio, and San Jacinto peaks. So far so good. It does what I expect it to. Easy to use. I have n't used other poles before so I do n't know how this compares to others, but I 'm happy with it and hope to keep using it for a while. The only downside is that at its shortest length, it's not small enough to fit in my pack( versus a foldable pole) but that's not an issue for me since I can still attach it to the outside of my pack.
