These are quite good. The hook buckle is easy to engage, and unlike plastic buckles, is unlikely to break. Adjusting the straps is equally simple, and it's possible to put a lot of force into them to really cinch them down. They release easily when you want them to, even when wet, but hold tight otherwise. I 've started using them to replace strap systems on other things. Do n't let Mark's `` weighty '' opinion keep you from these straps. The guy has n't even touched them! I agree that the weight should be provided by the manufacturer, so I 'll give Mark's review two stars.

I bought a SUP and I drive a veloster and do not have a roof rack. I used this on my bare roof and traveled about 25 miles with speeds up to 60mph. It is easy to install only took minutes. I wasnt even able to center the SUP on top of my veloster because of the antenna in the middle of the roof of my veloster and it still held my board in place.

I always pull over and check my ties after being on the road with the full force wind working against my lines, and, unlike rope and knots, these buckles do n't give anything up. Works for me!

I bought this a few days ago, and overall I ’ m really happy with it! It ’s sturdy and feels well made. It took me about 5 – 10 minutes to inflate it. The PSI gauge on the pump that came with it wasn ’ t reading correctly, but that was okay because I was planning on buying an automatic pump anyway. I think it ’s a great paddleboard for beginners. My only complaint is that I wish it had more attachment points( D- rings) so you could add accessories like a seat or other gear.

My husband and I bought two of these several weeks ago. Tried them out for the first time this weekend. We were so impressed: Easy inflation with the portable inflator powered by our car. Super easy to carry when inflated. Also has backpack bag to carry when not inflated. Cargo straps made it easy to take our flip- flops with us. Everything about this board seemed really solid and well thought out. We are novice paddle borders and this was a great way to get into the sport.

Did not use the hand pump but the fact that both were included was a huge reason we chose it. It is sturdy and had a hard non slip ‘ deck ’ which was a plus for our “ co- pilot ” …. our dog! I am a novice paddle boarder, but have been wanting to try for ages! My first impressions of this thing are great! It comes with a case that has backpack straps to help carry it to your destination. I wanted to figure out how to set it all up prior to taking it out on its first voyage. It was surprisingly easy, I used the manual pump, and it took about 5 minutes to blow it up. It does come with an automatic pump that plugs into your car, that will make inflating it much easier. The board itself feels very sturdy and easy to move.

This thing is awesome!! I had no idea how sturdy these paddle boards are. We are tall people and it makes my 6 ’ 3 son look small. Love the backpack feature to make carrrying easy. This is so fun to be on. As soon as the weather is warmer we will be taking it out. We just tried it in the pool today and that water is freezing as well. Would definitely recommend this product to others. Definitely use the plug in to blow it up.
