I like how easy the mechanism is to use. So many of these types of ratchet straps tend to bind up especially when you try to release them, these work great though.

anyone with a carrier will appreciate the ease and security this line provides!
5
Kayaker Linda
As I bought my Thule rack and carrier for my kayak from a friend, I decided it might be a good idea to have spare parts for it. First I bought small things such as screws and so forth, but then I need to replace one of the arms. Both times it was easy to find the right products and they arrived with no problems at all.
5
VWVanagon
I didn ’ t think I ’ d appreciate the ratcheting and lock feature as much as I do with this kit. It allows rapid release to open our rear hatch on our Van if we forgot to grab something while the Kayak is loaded and secure. Then you just easily tighten the rope back up

I have used Thule products for years and these tie downs are excellent and make the job very easy

Kayak_Jack
I know that a lot of folks mounting their kayaks on the roofs of their cars do n't use bow and stern anchors. I find added peace of mind knowing that I have the extra security, especially during highway trips, of no forward or backward movement. These Quick Draw Ratchets are simple but effective. Lightweight but strong. Easy on the wallet and appear that I 'll have years of use out of them. Highly recommended.

I use this product to strap down ladders and equipment during transportation to and from construction sites. It's a lot easier to use than standard ratchet straps and if you just leave the cam on the strap, no resetting is needed. It makes things super quick to use.

Nate
Quality product that allows for positioning the cam lock anywhere along the webbing. We use these all the time at our shop for tying down material from job site to job site. Very quick and easy to use.
5
Crank
Got this mainly for pick- up and trailer tie- down, but but useful on the ranch as well. The loop end slips through eyes on my truck bed easily enough, slips over cleats, and by putting the free end through the loop, can be anchored on beams, pipes, and branches as well. The dual cam lock allows the buckle to be positioned any where on the strap so you can get good access to the cams for tightening and release. The working side of the buckle works like a pulley, so we could get a 300- pound load up off the ground. I now have a couple in my truck all the time, and stowed one on the 4- wheeler, too.

That Guy
Trust is where it begins and ends with many things that require strength and security in holding things hard and fast. This Dual CamJam is the JAM! Other than than the webbing beginning to fray after two years hard use this system is one I recommend most when someone asks, “ How did you do that? ’& “ Hey what ’s that? ” Thanks for great kit.

Needed something light, strong, and with extended reach to work as tie down straps from my Cessna 182 aircraft. Perfect solution. Takes up almost no room and I can connect the straps in seconds. No more fuddling with ratchets and ropes that come undone.

Works like a charm on the front of the skiff. ... Have 2 YETI coolers and 3 sets of tie- downs.. wo n't leave the dock without having these all buttoned up they 've become part of our safe boating procedures and besides that it's always great knowing your good to go with everything lashed down...

Party Paul
I bought these to tie down my Yeti to the new Yeti Party Wagon that I made. I also purchased the Yeti bottle opener and attached it to the wagon too. Check it out, it works great!
5
This tie- down kit looks great on the back of my boat. We use it to hold down our Yeti coolers while boating. The ONLY negative is once the Yeti straps are out in the sun enough, they start to fade and look kinda bad. It would really be nice to have an option to buy the straps separately. As far as the looks and the quality... it's made by Yeti and it is fantastic.
5
Leprechaun60
Bought the tie- downs for securing Yeti to ATV box. Very pleased. The ATV is now `` one with the Yeti ''!

The Tie- Down Kit is prefect! I always use the when traveling. The Tie- Down truly keeps the cooler from moving around in the bed of my truck. All the supplies I have in the cooler when traveling never move or break! I have put glass bottles, food and ice. I drive in the woods, over rock, tons of bumps, thru water and never had any issue. This product is the Best of the Best!!!!! Five Stars to Yeti!!!!!

Works Great for fitting multiple boats on a rack. If you are going to put one boat on each side I would recommend buying a set of the 15 ft. load straps. If you are putting this on an Xsporter remember to use the Xadapt 3 adapter kit. There is a link to it in the technical specifcations area on this page. Not sure why Jay from a previous review could n't stumble on that. Great Product, use mine all the time and recommend to all my friends.

When I got kayaks I was trying to avoid racks like the J style Hull a Port. I 've had issues with boats shifting, and am not a fan of the design. The Stacker is a simple design that uses the crossbars to help keep the boat in place. Never had an issue with shifting, even on 8 hour drives with two boats. It's also the cheapest Thule option for more than one boat. Very happy with my decision. Just make sure you put the straps on BEFORE you put the boat on.
5
Kate
The Stacker is perfect for our 2 kayaks. Easy to install and use. Came with 2 straps.

Trying to research options to haul a canoe a few times on my F150 and this came up. It ’s a bit of a pricey option when combined with the the roof rack. In the end I was able to haul a canoe securely without issue. All straps were provided and the install was easy and secure. I ’ d recommend it.

I bought these primarily to keep my cargo straps rolled and organized. They are excellent for that use. They grip onto almost anything. I use them to keep our paddles bundled together and keep lines wound and out of the way on our canoe. When not in use they all stick together. Again keep in mind they will attach themselves to clothing, so do n't put them next to your favorite sweater or a long haired cat. I 've used the two packs I bought, but I 'm sure I 'll buy more as the need arises.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT. INTUITIVE TO USE. WELL MADE. REUSABLE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Ratchet tie down straps are primarily used to secure cargo during transportation, ensuring that items remain in place and do not shift or fall. They are commonly utilized in various settings, including moving trucks, trailers, and roof racks. Their adjustable nature allows for a tight and secure hold, making them ideal for both personal and commercial use.
Ratchet tie down straps are usually constructed from durable materials such as polyester or nylon, which provide strength and resistance to wear and tear. The webbing is often designed to withstand heavy loads and harsh weather conditions. Additionally, the ratchet mechanism is typically made from metal for added durability and reliability.
When selecting ratchet tie down straps, consider the weight capacity required for your cargo and the length of the straps needed to secure it effectively. It's also important to assess the type of cargo you are transporting, as different items may require specific securing methods. Look for features such as adjustable lengths and ease of use to ensure you find the best fit for your needs.
Yes, ratchet tie down straps come in various styles designed for different applications. Some are designed for general cargo securing, while others may have specialized features for specific uses, such as bow and stern securing for boats. The choice of style can impact the ease of use and effectiveness in securing different types of loads.
Durability is crucial when selecting ratchet tie down straps, as they need to withstand the stress of securing heavy loads. Look for straps with high tensile strength ratings and those made from materials that resist fraying and UV damage. Additionally, check the quality of the ratchet mechanism, as a sturdy design will enhance the overall lifespan of the straps.
Yes, many ratchet tie down straps are designed to be weather-resistant, making them suitable for use in various conditions. However, it's important to check the specifications of the straps to ensure they can handle exposure to elements like rain, sun, and extreme temperatures. Proper care and storage can also help prolong their lifespan in adverse weather.
